Man, awesome trailer. Jumping from one bad situation into another is just another day at the office for Indy. Depending on how well the final game plays and looks, this might just be a day one purchase for me.

There's been quite a lot of discussion at The Raider about the announcement. A lot of fans are very unhappy. Essentially, the reason the 360/PS3 version was dropped was that it was still not completed, and LucasArts has closed down its internal development group. I still don't understand how they could not finish the development after 5 years?
As for the version that will (still not confirmed) hit shelves, who knows what kind of quality you're going to get? That version was development 3rd party, although if its similar to Emperor's Tomb, it will be fine. I hope they do release a PS2 version, as I don't feel like buying a Wii.
As a general comment on LucasArts, the mighty have fallen it seems, which is very upsetting to me. I've played so many of their Star Wars/Indiana Jones games over the years, and the in-house group did such a magnificent job each time. Then again, I know the games sell, but why on Earth can't we get a Star Wars Trilogy or Indiana Jones game like the LEGO versions, except they are the authentic versions? The last ones were on Super Nintendo!
PS: That trailer contained only cinema scenes, no in-game footage.
As for Fountain of Youth, the mini-game is very cool, but the actual game is still several years away.

First gameplay screen here, and something for you old school Lucasarts fans...

The screen shots look really bad. Everyone at theraider.net is hoping they are from the DS/PSP version.
Amazon.com has the games for pre-order. Wii $49.99, PS2/DS/PSP $29.99.
Fate of Atlantis's inclusion is awesome, I just hope it is the graphical adventure with voices and not the terrible "action" version.

Apparently the Fate of Atlantis game is only in the Wii version, and the re-enactments of the classic chase scenes are only in the PSP version. Lucasarts have really failed on this one.

Yup, and the Joystiq article links to the SCUMM version.
