Flashback is $6.99 at the Best Buy near me. Still $19.99 on their website, so might be worth a check at the BBY near you. The one by me, East Brunswick, NJ has a whole table full of them as soon as you walk in the door.

Daummit!!
I paid 30 bucks around Christmas and the emu is not very good. Why didn't they use Stella?
I have two basic food groups, fast and frozen.
Is that the one that starts with the slugs that stab you in the leg, or the one where you're in the jungle with a gun? I always mix them up.
don't no,
I plug it in once and was unimpress so it sits like a museum piece

Hehe, the thread title is a bit confusing. It's not the side scrolling platform/action game, it's an Atari Flashback system. It's a little console that plugs into your tv through the a/v ports and emulates a bunch of atari games.Originally Posted by mills

Wow that's cheap! If I had a BB around here I'd go check it out. Maybe buy a few extra just to have them.

I took a ride over to Best Buy in W Paterson NJ..They had a ton of Atari Flashback TV systems.
Marked as $19.99..I asked a clerk to scan one to check..After he went through a whole bunch of crap doing so it scans at $19.99.
I also asked about the Doom 3 Weapons of Doom Guide DVD. ..They won't sell it without a purchase of the game..
I then went to Coconut's and they had the Atari Flashback with a sign saying $9.99..I thought I had found a deal as I'd gladly pay $9.99 for one..
But the fine print says"after mail in rebate"
I never get shit when I send it for rebates.. x_x
The Best Buy near me here in Jersey has a ton of them on sale for $4.99 each. Picked up two the other day.
Systems owned: 2600, 5200, Lynx, Jaguar w/CD, Commodore 64, NES, SNES, N64 w/DrV64, Gamecube, GB, GBA SP, Game.com, Neo Geo Pocket Color, Turbo Grafx 16, Game Gear, Master System, Genesis w/32X and CD, JVC X'Eye, Saturn, Dreamcast, Playstation, Playstation 2, Playstation 3, PSP, Xbox, Xbox 360, Wii.
A Best Buy I visited does not sell these anymore... I looked all over and only found the TV Joysticks...Oh well. I really want another Flashback.

Daryl, you have to send as well as the rebate form, the original UPC and barcode from the product you bought, Another F'ed up thing is that stores will sell you things with expired rebates
It's sad that they've fallen so far in price. I got one for Christmas. My only regret is that it didn't have more games.
Wanted and willing to fairly pay for:
Final Fantasy III Hat/Cap (Official Squaresoft)
Philips CDI 740
NTSC Proto of Daze Before Christmas (SNES)
