Yes, today marks the 14th anniversary of Sonic's Genesis debut. I'm having a little celebration over at my site to celebrate the event. Some reviews, some articles, and a video commercial and image gallery. Today's an important day for Genesis fans!

Here's to many more years of Sonic, and to hoping he'll finally get back to form!

I hear Yuji Naka created Sonic to publicise the existence of hedgehogs, which aren't very common in Japan.

Probably not entirely true as Yuji Naka didn't create Sonic.
