Ah.

Went to my local CC store and arrived there promptly at 2 minutes to 10am.

As soon as the doors opened, I made a beeline straight to the games area, where a nice young lady was putting stacks of games into one of those metal 'cage' bins.

She told me that most of the $9.99 games were in there, but some had been left on the shelf.

She also told me that this particular store would be limiting ALL of the $9.99 game purchases to 3 items per person, per visit, but I still managed to sweet talk my way (okay, so I had some help; I had someone stand with me) into buying the following:

Since I can't get there today, anybody know if they're going to be open tomorrow, on the 4th of July? And does it appear as if there will be any chance of finding anything good after a day or two has passed?

Just got back with Pirince of Persia Warrior Within and F-Zero GX,

I'd hoped for it but no Baten Kaitos here either, wouldn't mind trading somebody something for one if I can pick something up that's availale here. Passed on True Crime even though the progressive scan was urging me. Had many available including Mega Man and Dot Hack.

I went this morning and anticipated getting one or two games on my want list. To my suprise, I found EVERYTHING except Nanobreaker and Ridge Racer DS (they only had one RR, someone beat me to it).

Among others: Baten Kaitos, Tournament Tactics, and Transformers were NOT in their specified $9.99 bins, but still on the shelves.

Metal Arms and Amplitude were incorrectly placed in a seperate older discontinued bin.

Went to a few places...did allright. I didn't start until around 2:30pm so I didn't find Baten Kaitos anywhere, which I would've love to have picked up.

I managed to get 3 games for me, and 1 for the kids, but I REALLY wanted baten kaitos and .hack outbreak

Did you go to the concord CC ? I went at like 11:15 and the 2 copys of baten kaitos they had on monday were gone

I did get Ridge Racer DS and Project Snowblind so it wasnt a bad day

Since I had to work I’d arranged for one of my co-workers to pick some up for me. He managed to get me:

Three out of ten on my highlighted list wasn’t too bad a haul. My buddy snagged a bag full of stuff himself, he was most proud of the SOCOM w/ headset they had apparently mis-priced but sold it to him for $9.99 anyway.

I went to one CC. I had an invitation today, so I didn't have the time to go to a second or third one.

I saw PoP 2 for the GC, but I have the prequel on the Xbox so I didn't pick it up. I saw also two Baiten Kaitos, but I have it already. Unfortunately, I didn't find Nanobreaker.

Still I picked up some games I wanted for that price:

When I first heard about this, I was liek all OMG at the prospect of getting Ridge Racer DS on the cheap. Then I got to thinking about it, and the only reason I wanted it was because it was a cheap DS game. I already knew it was a shitty port of the shitty port on the N64, and I didn't much like the shitty port on the N64. So I decided not to jump into the belly of the beast, er, Circuit City and get the game. I'll save my money for something better.

And I didn't feel like getting anything else on that list either.

I should stop being so damn lazy and get Silent Hill for the PSX. It intrigues me.

I was at the CC on Bluemound Road. I got some games on my list, surprisingly. Nascar Thunder 2004 for the Xbox would have been nice too, and Amplitude, well, and Amped 2...but then, it was a decent sale overall.

I have to look at another CC tomorrow for the Rainbow Six 3 headset version though and some other games

A year ago I bought 68 games, now 8. I have to say, though, that I got a lot of games on this years list already for ten dollars or even cheaper in the last couple of months from other places.
