    Default BlowOut for US GameCube

    Hi all,

Anyone bought/played this? Can you tell me if it came in heat-sealed skrinkwrap like Prince of Persia/Rogue Leader etc. or in the folded cellophane like Nintendo branded games tend to?

    Cheers

    Luke

Most of the Majesco titles tend to be heat shrinked, as did a majority of Acclaim's and some of Midway's releases.

I bought and played this game for my Xbox, and I was completely disappointed in it. A great Contra-style 2D game was ruined by the overly complex controls. When every Xbox button is used to make your guy run back and forth, you know that something is messed up. I finally got angry at it and sold it, wishing there was a simplified control scheme.

I bought it again for the GameCube hoping for a more simplified control scheme, and it has it! Thank GOD. The game is really quite good, and for the relatively cheap price you can snag it for (I got both of my copies under $5.00), it is definitely worth picking up.

    Thanks for the feedback everyone.

I wonder if this title will become R@ARE!! and sort after in the near future.

I just got it because it was a Contra clone.

I really doubt it. It seems to be overly common around Milwaukee.

Then again, I'm always surprised by which games people can't find outside of this city. If it's hard to get your hands on it, for some reason we've got fifty copies. If anyone is looking for it, I might be able to help

It's pretty common here too. EB sells the Gamecube version for $5.99 used ($5.39 if you have an Edge card).

I just started it a while ago, and I'm having a blast.

I have this, and I paid $9.99 for it, and I was not dissapointed. When you pay this for a game, you aren't expecting a lot. I think it is a great game for 10 bucks, but it gets repetitive quickly. But I got my 10 beans outta it...

I own it on every current-gen console. I think I might be an idiot.
Currently catching up on PSN, WiiWare, Wii U E-Shop and Xbox Live Arcade exclusives I missed.

    I agree with josekortez.

    Also, I have a sealed one and it's heat-shrink.
