Hmm, might be worth a look. I got banned from the CGE-UK forum purely for asking if they were linked to the real CGE, so certainly won't be bothering with them.
I just saw that post of yours on their forum, that is really pathetic that they ban you for that.Originally Posted by anagrama
As for Eurocon 2005, I'm also considering going. I live relatively close to that part of Germany, so that's an added benefit
I'll probably know in a week or two whether or not I will be able to go.

I'm always looking for new boxed NES accessories. If you've got any for sale, shoot me a PM!
Yeah, they edited the post aswell - it originally also said "or did you just steal the name?". Anyway, I don't want to side-track this thread so I'll leave that.
Any idea if there are budget airlines that fly to anywhere near Eurocon?
In general EuroCon is more a meeting than an exhibition. If you want to join EuroCon it'll cost you 20 Euro for the three days. The 20 Euro include money for the meeting-room, entrence fee for the trading session, some food on Friday, coffee and water for the weekend and prizes for the competitions,... If you have something special for exhibiting, you're very welcome to bring it with you and show it to the other attendees.Originally Posted by lurpak
You can book the hotel through us for 32 Euro per night in a double-room incl. breakfest or search a hotel on your own.
Last year's EuroCon was in Scheveningen (NL) and you can also check out that homepage to get more infos about what EuroCon is like: http://www.eurocon.info
If anybody is interested in joining EuroCon use the contact section on our homepage: http://www.gamereset.de/eurocon2005
Hope to see you all!
Bochum has no airport, but there are several airports within a 100 km range.Originally Posted by anagrama
Ryanair flies to Weeze but they call it Dusseldorf. It takes about 1 1/2 h to go from Weeze to Bochum by train. I couldn't find any infos how far the airport is away from the train station.
The other airports are Dortmund, Cologne, Dusseldorf (the one in Dusseldorf) and Munster.
Man, I would love to come this year (was there in The Hague last year with my austrian buddies) but someone else booked the weekend
I wish you all to have a good time
BTW we make a small "AustroCon" at my home in August so I have a bit of a con this year

Hmm, just had a quick look and Hapag-Lloyd Express fly from Newcastle-Cologne. Might be worth looking into...
Easyjet flies from Luton to Dortmund (http://www.easyjet.com/EN/Planning/D...ion/index.html), which is really close to Bochum. You can use www.map24.de to find out how to get to Bochum from Dortmund.Originally Posted by anagrama

Do you have a more detailed program/agenda for Eurocon 2005 that I could take a look at?Originally Posted by j_eits

Unfortunately not now. We had some trouble finding a cheap hotel with a good room for the meeting and are behind our schedule right now. But expect somthing like the program for Eurocon 2004. (I've posted the link above.)Originally Posted by Speedy_NES
We formed a local organisation group and we'll meet next Wednesday and will decide about the detailed program. If you want to join EuroCon and want to see a special event happen there, just let us know.
It's per person. We are also working on a single room option, but that'll take a while.Originally Posted by Speedy_NES
By the way, I've searched my links and found two pages with nice pics from last years EuroCon:

Some people from The Netherlands already signed for EuroCon. I can ask in the next mail if someone can pick you up near the boarder or somewhere else.Originally Posted by Nes-a-holic
