I was interested in the Astrocade games until I saw the prices. Do you realize that the most valuable one (machine language) is only valued at $50 in the guide? the other two are $35 and $25 games.

I've bought a few games, where pricing in the guide was low $25-50, but actual $$$ changing hands was in the $500+ range. Ultimately it's just how much you're willing to spend, and how determined you are to complete that collection.
Sean also likes to start high, then drop the price until he finds a buyer. No harm in that, but usually it means I have to watch him relist items two or three times before it's near my buying zone.
I have sold about 3-4 Astrocade games for $200-$300 each. These have all been very rare titles that have sold for that much. The Astrocade titles that I have listed are from my collection. I was hit with some unexpected expenses and I could use the money otherwise these would not be listed. If the Astrocade titles do not sell I will not be relisting them.Originally Posted by Griking

I understand that the guide is just a guide but the people who put the prices in there aim to be as accurate as possible. Are you suggesting that the price in the guide is inaccurate and should be higher?Originally Posted by video_game_addict
so he listed something for more than guide. Who cares? Nobody's forcing you to buy it..
