Bah. The boot sale today was very, very poor. Most of the tables featured PS2 or Xbox games... and I'm not in the market for used games on current platforms.
Really, the only thing that caught my eye was this N64 bundle that two unemployed hippies were selling. One looked like the ginger, Scottish guy from the second Austin Powers movie (though not as funny - but not without his charm!), and the other pronounced herself as "disabled". She had green hair.
The unboxed N64 bundle included three controllers and rumble pak, 5 boxed games (with inlays) and a loose copy of GoldenEye. They wanted £30 for the lot so as to keep a roof over their heads until their benefits came through.
I couldn't justify buying a second N64, so I just bought the 5 boxed games. And with that, I left. Not a great day.
Nutin special, i modded an xbox yeseterday and put in a 120gigerOriginally Posted by AFGiant

Gah. Went to my first ever car boot sale today. Nothing much there. I considered buying some gameboy games until I found out they were £4 each!
Got a Time Crisis gun set for £3 and a Megadrive lot for £10
The games are
Sonic 1
Sonic 2
Castle of Illusion
World of Illusion
Bubsy
Rex
Megagames 1
James Pond 2
NBA Jam
I've got the first 5 but I can sell them on for more than £1 each, or trade them to UK people
It turns out the megadrive doesn't work so I opened it up just because I could. Are these wires supposed to be there? I don't want to open up my other megadrive to check.
Can someone tell me what this controller is? It came in the megadrive lot
EDIT: did the person above HAVE to quote every picture of Cauterize's?
Picked up a few things at the local game place
PS2:
GTA Vice City - Never played it before so I figured what the heck
Gameboy:
Mouse Trap Hotel
SNES:
Dirt Track FX
Game Gear:
Ariel: Little Mermaid
F-15 Strike Eagle
X-Men Mojo World
Dragon - Bruce Lee Story
Ms. Pac-Man
Those wires are meant to be there...Originally Posted by Fibblewith

Aura Interactor, complete in box - £5.
Incidentally, I'm having trouble hooking this up to my Mega Drive II, as the power cable tip doesn't allow the connector/adapter thing to fit properly in the AV-Out port, due to its inverted pyramid shape. Bah.
Well I was able to find a complete Michael Jackson's Moonwalker for the Sega Genesis for $7.98. At the same place I also found a complete non-GH Xenogears for $7.98 and the original strategy guide for $4.98 Found a Sphinx and the Riddle of the Sphinx guide for the PS2 at a Gamestop for $1.99.
***If you have any Transformers toys or Three Investigators books, let me know.***

Actually I just got it to briefly work for a couple of seconds. I think it could have something to do with the aerial plug being very loose in the socket. It's not the aerial cable that's loose, it's the socket. Any idea what I can do about that?
it might just be that u need to tune it inOriginally Posted by Fibblewith
If not, just open it up and check the RF port see if it is damaged or wobbly or whatever...
Good Luck!

Dont forget the MD has an AV port (Megadrive 1) so you could always try an a AV Cable, it might just be the RF port that is dead...Originally Posted by Fibblewith
