A while back (about 1993 lol) I saw that Shadowgate (the NES game) was ported to the PC, in a Windows-based program.
Well, did anyone ever get it? Anyone know where I can get a copy? I'd love to play it!!

Shadowgate was on DOS PC before the NES port but the version I believe you're talking about is for Windows 3.1. I don't know where to find it though or how you get 3.1 games to run on modern PCs.
It was DOS? Any idea where I could get it to play?
No, the DOS version is older. The Windows 3.1 game you probably saw is a remake.
I see both the DOS and Windows versions right now in #oldgames on efnet.. look pretty small.
If you want to play old DOS games you can use a DOS emulator called DOSbox.

I've only tried it for the DOS based music tracker Fast Tracker 2. Too bad it sux for it, a 0.1 sec delay on the sound Yes, this have much to say when you track. Its like watching a movie thats out of sync.
DOSbox should be ok to play games with i guess

You meant to say that you should use JavaCool's Spyware Blaster and Kolla's SpyBot Search & Destroy before visiting the site
