    Default Game Genie issue

    My game genie for the genesis works fine but wont let me save for some reason and it happened on two different games

    does the genie have a battery in it? if so a dead battery might be the problem...

    I dont remember the genie ever having a save feature. Are you talking about the game plugged into it?

    Are you sure the batteries aren't dead?

    Also, I think (could totally be wrong) that sometimes a save checksum is corrupted because of the GG, so it doesn't keep.

    this might also be an issue with the rearrangement of pins inorder to make the GG bypass and boot correctly try removing the GG and saving if this works the battery is fine
    Broken? fix it.

    The Genesis Game Gear was licensed by Sega I think, shouldn't be that.
