I'm not trying to resurrect the debate from Days of Yore, but I need to find a thread and maybe someone remembers where it is.

Some time ago, the question was (once again) rasied "Is the Nintendo NES considered a 'classic' videogame system?" After much debate, there was a nice list of which systems were "classic," which were "neoclassic," and which were "modern." (At one point, I think we even used golden era, silver, era, etc. like comic books.)

Anyway, what was the final determination of classic vs. neoclassic vs modern? Was it bit-size or year of release or what? I remember it was summarized nicely in that thread. A pointer would be nice.
