Why does E-Bay let sellers like this keep selling?

I have recently started collecting some of the Gameboy/Color/Advance games. I have started watching these Hong Kong sellers, which most of them are selling 100% bootleg games. Look at the feedback percentage

Same thing happens with Disney DVD's. I have also seen a ton of the Hong Kong sellers with their gameboy games. It's a problem they should address ASAP but the bottom line is, ebay is getting paid.

It's sad but sometimes I think that's about all ebay cares about. They could take care of these bootleg sellers if they really wanted to.

What I can't figure out is when someone puts up a converter to let you play a Japanese game on a US system, they end the auction as soon as they see it. I know a bunch of people that have left negitive feedback for some of these (Hong Kong) sellers and reported it to E-Bay, but they let the bootlegs sell . I am going to try and get the games that I want right here and at Atari Age.

It's all about the money. And the fact that they are not located in the US. Since they're in Hong Kong, they can't touch them for selling bootlegs. So they let it slide, and they get paid in the process.

i think the worst stuff is the emulator discs, there always seems to be about 30 of the fuckers on at any one time.. and the listing always has some drivel along the lines of im not selling the games just the program to play them, yeah ok like they actually created the program which is free since the actual creator dumped it online, these people are assholes

Very true, but I wish the legit CD's there were a little bit cheaper
