Default Pokemon Piikachu N64.... more valuable than reg. n64?

Anybody know if the Pikachu N64 is anymore valuable than a regular N64?

My wife brought one home from a Garage Sale. She got it for $10 along with 7 games, 2 controllers and an expansion pack.

Man, I wish I had the patience and gas to drive around at Garage sales all day, but I just can't fade it. Luckily my wife still likes to do it, and I've hipped her to the whole video game thing.

I'd say it is worth more than a standard N64, but not by much. I value the standard gray N64 @ $15 Complete, loose w/ one controller. The Pikachu edition (if complete, loose with pokemon controller) prob. ($20-25). I still think the Funtastic series is worth the most. (Not including limited edition systems) (Watermelon, orange, teal, jungle green, smoke, etc.)

Yep, me too. Even if it was a regular N64 I think its a very good price to get a n64, 7 games and expansion pak for $10

You can get the Pikachu units for about the same price as a standard unit here. Nothing special. Some of the Funtastics units are damned hard to come by. Especially Smoke and Blueberry.

I liked some of the "special edition" sets. I have just the box to the Star Wars Episode One Racer set because the unit inside was a standard one.

I'd say that it is in fact worth more than the standard consoles, but not much more. It was a different run than the normal shell, so there are some collecters who want it. Not to mention the Pokemon freaks.
Still though, 10 bucks for the console, expansion pack and 7 games was definitely a good deal.

there are two version from my memory - one big chunky one with pikachu stuck on its side and the other one which is stock standard N64 but with stickers on it. The later one is much rarer and hence will fetch high price for collectors... the bigger toy like one is cheap as chip really...

I have one and LOVE it. Found it listed (horribly) on ebay and I won it for $4.95 plus $8.00 shipping boxed, with the game and in REALLY excellent shape (aside from a crapload of dust that was easy to clean up)!

At the GOAT Store, we list the Pokemon consoles for $35.00, as well as the colored consoles. A regular console sells for $20.00.

We rarely sell regular consoles. We are constantly selling and restocking both the Pokemon ones and the colored ones.

I think you got a great deal!
