EDIT: It's now down to $12.99 new.
Polarium is $15 at EBGames.com. The preplayed version is still going for $20, so this isn't a bad deal at all.

This is why I'm pissed that I had to report my credit card lost last week.
Currently catching up on PSN, WiiWare, Wii U E-Shop and Xbox Live Arcade exclusives I missed.
HAHAHAHA $15 for polarium is still too damn much. I paid full price for it and i'm still kicking myself over it. Challenge mode is unplayable and puzzle mode, while fun, is too short. Way too short.
Wait and get the GBA version istead. Even though it'll cost more then $15, it's missing the challegne mode and it's got considerably more puzzles.
It's back up to $29.99. Damn. I had it in my cart overnight and was going to finish the checkout in the AM and it jumped back up. Oh well. Retro Atari Classics is $19.99, so I'm just going to get that.
You have seriously got to be joking. The Puzzle mode is boring at most. The Challenge mode is the only thing I found worth playing, and I definitely think the game is worth 15 dollars. How you found Challenge to be unplayable, boggles my mind. It's the simplest concept on the planet. Touch the squares, make them flip to match.Originally Posted by njiska

Polarium is very challenging though, so if you aren't one of the blessed individuals that think being aggravated is fun, it might not be for you. The wife and I have been consistently playing Polarium, with each challenge resulting in a higher score. This is the game that has actually given me a jump start back into games that are played for the sole purpose of points.
Like I say though, the game is quite difficult due to the challenege of each puzzle (not due being "unplayable").
It's true that i don't have the fastest reflexs and that's why i have such trouble with challenge, however i'm far from being the only one who has a problem with it. Many, many people hate challenge mode. It's hard, but for me and many others, it's not the fun kind of hard.
Puzzle mode was boring at first but once you get about 30 or so into it the difficulty and entertainment value picks up.
I'm with njiski on this one. My reflexes are fast enough but I didnt like the fact that in my dragging that it felt like slowdown in tile selection (for flipping) and that it missed tiles as I dragged across them quite regluarly. I found little solice in Challenge mode. Hell I found little solice in the game in general. Its been played some, and if i'm bored of my really good DS stuff I can always go back to it.
Because it makes no attempt to be great, it is therefore extremely great.

OK its kinda hard to pass it up at that price, but the $6 shipping charge kills it. I notice they have a $1.99 EB Saver shipping option which is 5-10 days delivery which is fine by me, but I am wondering if any of you have used this method of shipping yet and how fast does your package arrive?
I always use the EB Saver, and it usually gets to me in about a week. Never really had a problem with it.
Thank God I passed this up at Wal-Mart tonight. I was seriously considering picking this up for $30. Luckily, Nintendogs caught my eye, and I went the canine route instead. Thanks for the heads up!

I love this game, it's really really addictive! My favorite DS game(of the 4 I own). I was playing it this summer some when I was board. It I made it somewhere between 60-80%. Very challenging game, has anyone beat it?
I honestly couldn't STAND this game, I had it sold on ebay within a week of getting it. I played it for a good 5-10 hours total.
This thing could have EASILY come out on the microvision, or one of those cheesy $1 handheld game toys.
