I hear people say on here "I feel like we are on gamespot" What makes it bad?

Dance Dance Toejam and Earl!
Their forums are full of leet-speaking twerps (which, sad to say, seems to be the case on most video game forum).
I think you might mean GameFAQs. I've never really read the GameSpot forums, but GameFAQs forums are notoriously the worst of the worst. Flame wars, fanboys, etc. I'll check out a few threads every month or so just to remind myself how awful the internet can be.
Gamespot = Good, not great, but pretty good
Gamefaqs = Useful resource, but there are more trolls then braincells on their forums
IGN = IGNorrant. Just thought i'd through that one in for fun.
A long while ago (like when www.gamespot.co.uk vanished) I went off Gamespot and onto IGN. Over the past 12 months I've found that I can't stand the latter and actually rather like Gamespot as a site.
I don't really like either of their forums, enough with the "Omg I bought this system so I have to defend it, and everything else sucks" crap
GameFAQs forums I don't go near with a barge pole .
Gamespot and Gamefaqs forums are the same. Pick a game and look at the same one at the other site. Same ones.
Anyway, I don't think topic creator really was talking about the boards, but the site and its "real" content. It seems some people believe either IGN or GS have a bias towards a specific system. The next person down the line will think it's the opposite. That's where the dislike generally comes in.
I like gamespot for their news, keeps me up to date. Also rumour control always fun, and they don't rate on a 8-10 scale like IGN.

indeed. I find gamespot to be the lesser of 2 evils.

So it goes.
I love gamespot's huge review/screenshot archive.
As far as the forums go, I try not to touch any videogames forums besides this one. IGN and Gamespot's forums are bad, but they aren't anywhere near the same league of awfulness as gamefaqs's. They even make the IMDB forums look good.
"Gamespot got into my arm, and it went bad."
Anyway, that's how.
