Default Weekend Finds Sep 17, 18th

Picked up PS2 Wipeout Fusion and GC Beyond Good and Evil for $AUS15 each complete at a pawn shop, and in return for driving my dad across town, he bought me PS2 Ace Combat Squadron Leader for $AUS30 second hand at a gamestore as well.. pretty decent considering I've only ever seen it either $AUS100 new or $AUS80 second hand at EB.

Also, if you're anywhere near Harvey Norman in Midland, Western Australia in the next few months (and I'm sure most of you are), keep an eye on their price for PS2 GT4 - it's already 50% off, and they had about 8000000000 copies of it.

Steempy doesn't waste any time, does he...

I got Polarium (DS, complete) in the mail yesterday from a cheapassgamer.com trade.

This morning's yard sales were particularly fruitful.

    Games
Cliffhanger (Sega CD, game, case & back insert) - $1
Samurai Showdown 4 Universal (PS1, bootleg?) - $1 (it had a PlayStation memory card symbol on the back, but I don't know if it's an import that will play on a U.S. PlayStation or not)
Star Wars Chess (Sega CD, complete) - $1 (this sucker is mint!)
    The Granstream Saga (PS1, complete) - $1
    Vandal Hearts (PS1, loose) - $1
Sega link cable (can't tell if it goes with Game Gear, Saturn or what?, need help here) - $1

    CDs
Janet Jackson - All For You - $2
    Jennifer Lopez - J. Lo - $2
    Now 7 - $2
    Now 9 - $2

VHS Tapes (these were 5 for a dollar, all with sleeves)
    Besefort Gan
    Devil Hunter Yohko
Fatal Fury: Legend of the Hungry Wolf
Fatal Fury 2: The New Battle
    Legend of Lemnear
    Ranma 1/2: Buns of Steel
Ranma 1/2: The Harder They Fall
    Suikoden: Demon Century
    Urusei Yatsura Vols. 3, 4, 6 and 9
    Vampire Princess Myu

    Dirty Work
    Glory Daze
If Looks Could Kill (Richard Grieco's best performance ever)
    Loser
Currently catching up on PSN, WiiWare, Wii U E-Shop and Xbox Live Arcade exclusives I missed.

I hit the flea at opening...
Getting there within the time of all the rush in,run around early bird scavengers..(looks like mice running in mazes)
Suck thing about getting there that early is lots of people are still unpacked and coming in..I walked around for hours checking to see what else was put out and what other vendors showed up..(not as many vendors as usual)

Nothing special today... Lots of NES games and systems...but I'm stocked up so I passed all of them up...I didn't even buy game that I don't own..
    So I just grabbed.

All the stuff to the left in the pic $20.00 for all...Finally got a Namco TV game cheap..(my other is broke)
The 6 NES games. $1.00 Each..(NES games to sell)

$40.00 in Coca Cola stuff for my wife..

Activision Anthology - It was a new copy and was marked for only $5

    Xbox

I just bought a GameCube with 4 controllers, a memory card, 5 games, and a TV that connects to it all for $140 CANADIAN.

I'll post a picture once I can get a hold of the camera.

I hit up a couple yard sales, rummage sales and estate sales today and failed 100%. Looks like my skills lie in thrifting. Anyhow, here's how I did:

    Value Village

    Colecovision - Looping (loose)
Colecovision - Mouse Trap (cart, manual)
Colecovision - Star Trek (cart, overlay & manual)
    PC - Crusader Collection (complete)

    1.91 each.

Then yesterday I got at Gamezone...

    Genesis - Star Control (boxed) - 6
    SNES - Toys (loose) - 2

Probably my worst game-find weekend all summer :/

    Frogger (Atari 2600) - .50

Stopped by Target and got a couple Nintendo clearance items:

Original Gamecube controller in Jet - $4.98
Gameboy Advance Game Link Cable - $2.48

I did see an Xbox at a yard sale for $50. It was boxed, had a DVD kit and 2 joysticks for $50 which seemed like a great price but sadly I didn't have that much with me and still needed to buy gas later. Oh well...

I got one of my favorite classic PC FPS today.

Redneck Rampage, the Family Reunion Pack. (Includes EVERYTHING...Part 1 and 2...expansion pak and the infamous "Cuss Pack) They weren't kidding...all 7 words...

for $20. Sure kind of high for an older PC game, but it had the Cuss pack, I couldn't pass that up.
These cartridges are dirty as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore!
