Default Wow, Sealed NES ZELDA II for starting bid at $1,375

Well, what a great deal, a sealed new PAL version of Zelda 2 with the starting bid at $1,375!

    http://cgi.ebay.com/SEALED-AND-BRAND...QQcmdZViewItem

I mean even if it was the US version of the game, which is worth probably double if not more than it's PAL counterpart, this price would still be a damn joke.

I mean I am a sealed collector, but when people price games for this it's just stupid. The enjoyment I get out of this is at least when no one bids, or there might be fake bidders, the person still has ebay fees to pay.

Oh, I also missed something else.

For the shipping the guy assures safe arrival because he will be shipping in a brand new "jiffy bag"!
Now that just pisses me off, as well I'm sure as everyone else on here, when the seller ships my games, ESPCIALLY SEALED ONE, if a bag, brown envelope, etc.

Ye, that is a high price hehe. If I was going to sell it with this price I would also add a "Submit best offer" button. Nothing wrong with having a high price hoping that a serious collector with cash will buy it. And that jiffybag thingie seems to be a standar thing (check his previously sales). He wont be that stupid and sending this game in a jiffybag (i hope hehe). If someone buys it the buyer will most likely tell him to ship it in a cartboard box or simular.

With respect, what facts do you base on saying that a sealed USA copy of this game would be worth the double of a PAL version? This is the first sealed PAL Zelda 2 game I've seen.

Holy shit man, super weird to start it at that price. And what makes him think he will sell this PAL format for that much, there are not much PAL collectors that i know of and the ones that i know will never go that high for a fs copy of Zelda 2.

I saw this this morning. Had to ask the obligitory question "Does it have the vertical seam down the back" as by rights it should do.

Otherwise, it looks suspiciously like a r-r-r-r-reseal!

PS: Also totally offended the guy by asking if they'd accept £100 for it! Lol

Usually yes, not for this game though, espcially since it's PAL. Well, someone might bid, but it won't be a real bidder REALLY going to pay for it if they win.

I think your right. It looks like it says "REV-A" in the down right corner.
Zelda 2 (atleast smallbox version) says "European Version" in front too.

and if i had to venture a guess, i'd say it is factory sealed... but still not worth the price it is listed at.

So do you think it's a European version?
For some reason when I look at it it also almost looks like the US vesion?

No, i agreed with Qixmaster. Only USA games have REV-A, and the box says REV-A down right.
The european version says "European Version" on the box (atleast the smallbox version, im pretty sure its on the normalsize box too), but what hes selling doesnt say "European Version".
So.. yes, its most likely a USA version

    Did you visit his website?
"I have a FACTORY SEALED copy of ZELDA 2: THE ADVENTURES OF LINK. This could be the only one still factory sealed IN THE WORLD?!?! (If you have a copy please contact me!)"

I know at least three people in france who have a factory sealed pal zelda.
Should I send him this picture?

    He would be pretty disapointed.
