Default Intellivision Collection Complete! (Pictures inside)

    Hey everybody,
As of today, I have all of the North American released Intellivision games. I had all the games except for 6 in November of last year, at which point I thought to myself "its pretty much done, I can relax on Intellivision now." 6 months go by and I hadn't gotten a single new game. Thats when I started hunting down the last games I needed. The last game I got was Happy Trails, which arrived today.

Here are the games that have their boxes. I didn't collect boxed games, but I did amass quite a few of them in my travels:

And then 2 pictures of my loose games. Pictures were taken with a fish-eye lens for added goodness. I don't know why the picture had to be taken with my 2 worst labels sticking right at the camera.

    barefoot baby!

Just for kicks, here are the two heavy-hitters:

Now onto completing that monster known as the complete NES collection.

One more thing, I'd like to thank the people who helped me get some of the games that completed my collection. I'm sorry if I forgot about you:

That's right. There's no relaxing until you have that final game. That's the first time I've actually seen the Congo Bongo cart.

Congrats!... and good luck on the NES collection.

Were some of the later INTV games released without overlays or boxes? Somehow I have it in my head that some were.

Nice going. I love INTV, but have been neglecting my collection for some time. I don't think I'll go for completion, but I will continue on my very minor goal of acquiring all the Imagic games. Only have three so far. Since you can play everything, you ought to post a must-have list for the rest of us. Or at least me.

All of the games had boxes. Spiker!'s box is definitely the rarest box in the entire library. I know of a few people who only need that one box to complete their collection. The box for Stadium Mudd Buggies is fairly rare too. They were both released around the same (or at the same) time, so they're kind of the same.
Some of the games didn't have overlays, I'm quite certain that Spiker and Stadium Mudd Buggies didn't have overlays, as well as CongoBongo. I'm sure other do too, but I don't know.

Actually, quite a few Intellivision games were made without overlays. 37 out of the 125 games for Intellivision never had them. That's almost a third of the games! My friend Psycho_Stormtrooper designed and produced overlays for those 37 games including Triple Challenge... a game that requires 6 overlays.

Isn't it nice to say you have the collection. I dig that feeling. It is probably the only collection I have complete and for that matter ever will. I don't have the necessary money or time to hunt or to ebay for all the titles I need for sooooo many other systems. i find it funny Happy Trails was your last title you got, considering the availability of Fathom, Congo Bongo, Learning Fun II, SS Volleyball etc.

Enjoy, let the (intellivision disc) thumb wars begin anew.

I've never played an Intellivision before but there's a wealth of it where I live.

Congrats on the complete collection. It doesn't really matter what you collect, having a complete set of anything would be an awesome feeling. I've shoved everything aside in order to do a complete of the PSP. I can't see that system being around forever, so it shouldn't be too overly hard to accomplish.

Did you pick up the homebrews?:
    http://www.intellivision.org/Intelli...sionGames.html
I had a grumpy moment at the DP booth at CGE last month. Really didn't want to pay $90 for 4-tris and Minehunter, but finally decided a complete intv collection must stay complete.
The Blue Sky Rangers guys have some official new releases coming too, the website should have details. They had a mailing list for it at the show.
