Future PS2 Rarities..?

So, which PS2 games do you think, in the future will become really rare and sought after. I mean there are already a few quite sought after, but what's your opinions?

Which games do you think, currently released or to be released, in a couple years will become the average man's "Who would pay that much for a game!?"

Speaking of which, have you played it? I personally thought it played a bit like Zelda, but the graphics are beautiful! And yeah, Shadow of the Colossus does sound like a rarity...

possibly other titles like klonoa 2.. and the last real games on the system, before the budget stuff out-sells everything else

Darkcloud One or Two? Or perhaps both? I have DC2, and I feel it will become rare...

Yeah i've played the demo and it really is awe inspiring, HOWEVER the game is esentially nothing but 16 boss fights and that's the kind of thing that doesn't carry well with most of the market. Amazing game or not i don't think it will do overly well at retail in america and that will most likely lead to fewer copies being produced. Here's hoping that it is a success though.

I disagree with all of these titles. Dark Cloud is greatest hits, and I find at least one of each of those three titles at every used game store I go to (a regional thing?)

A good one to pick since it is out of print and wont come out with a sequel is Marvel vs Capcom 2. The demand is so high for this game already. It sells on eBay for about $40-70 complete. Luckily I bought these from all the local blockbusters in excellent shape for only $10 each. I have 6 copies for PS2 and 1 mint complete copy for XBOX.

Also another one is Moto GP 3.

Yes I tried forever to find a mr misquito in the wild, but I finaly found one in EB not long ago.

I have not seen sky gunner in the wild in a looong time

Dual hearts is rare IMO, I have never seen it in the wild but I finaly got a copy from a trade here.

Gitaroo man is a no doubt rarity

Tsugunai is another game I never recall seeing in the wild

Also I think klonoa 2 will become rare, I hardly ever see it

I'd say Gun Runner and FD18 will probably be rare. FD seems rare as it is, and I've never seen Gun Runner in the wild, since if I did, I'd buy it immediately.

Must be a regional thing, I probably see 5 Mad Maestro's to every Mr. Mosquito where I live.

What do you guys know about Yanya Caballista? I picked up a brand new one boxed for $10 a couple weeks ago, as I couldn't recall ever seeing it before.

Oh yea I forgot about ephemeral fantasia.
I rarely ever see that game in the wild, infact for such a game that good such bad reviews (I actualy kinda enjoyed it though) it still goes for $15-20 shipped on ebay. Not dirt cheap if you ask me.

Also I can imagine ICO becoming rare in the future. Sure there are tons on ebay that can be bought for $10, but the game is just so unknown by casual gamers, and even hardcore gamers as well that in a few years I wouldent doubt seeing ICO on ebay for double or triple what its going for now because suddenly it cant be found in stores anymore.

Also if shadow of the colossus is a success, then fans of that game will seek out copies of Ico if they learn it was made by the same team that did Shadow.

Ico is not rare right now, its common on ebay, and uncommon in the wild.

I hear this all the time but I see Suikoden III and Klonoa almost every time I walk into a EBWorld or Gamestop. I can't imagine that either of them are rare at all.

And while I'm not sure about it being rare I'll admit that Wizardry was a bitch to find for me.
