Genesis box question

I have a box (but no game or manual) for John Madden Football '93 and after reading through the Genesis rarity list I thought, "wouldn't it be cool if it was the Championship edition?" Well, I had a look and it looks exactly like the regular box shown on Genesis Collective except in the bottom right corner it says "Limited Edition First Round EASN". Is that the same as the Champ. Ed.? I suppose I should stop thinking about these things so much but I just thought it would be cool to have a "rare" Genesis sports game? Oh, and the box did come from a rental store (dumpster).

The Championship Edition is a GOLD colored box, that's the easiest way to tell the difference. Also there should be mention on the back about how the game includes championship (Super Bowl) teams from every Super Bowl. It's a great cart, my favorite 16-bit Madden game.
