Fresh blood, (since I check this thread daily so the payout and response is prompy) 50 meseta since this is a really easy one:

What is the last unlockable fighter in Fighter's Megamix (Saturn)? Notice I said "what."

Depends on what you consider a game. Before the release of Final Fantasy VII, Silicon Graphics had a tech demo of a "Final Fantasy" game proof of concept. At the same time there was yet another proof of concept "Final Fantasy" demo running on the N64 core hardware. Both of these were to show what a next generation (at the time) Final Fantasy game might look like.

Of course nothing more ever happened due to the limitations of the cartridge medium and Square wanting to develop some stuff with Sony, so Final Fantasy VII ended up being released on the PlayStation, looking VERY different from the proof of technology demos developed for the N64.

    Sufficient enough answer?

    The Hornet one

Yes that's way more than sufficient, it was sort of a trick question anyway

What was the Japanese name for the US/EU SMB2?

    Super Mario Bros, American Edition.

    • Name the author of the 2004 book Power Up: How Japanese Video Games Gave the World a Second Life.
    • Name 3 games in which the Sun fights the player.
    • Who is hotter, Kimberly or Daphne?

Name 3 games in which the Sun fights the player.
The sun is in magical drop 2 and 3. The sun also attacks the player in SMB 3. The sun can caused heat stoke in earthbound when you in the desert. Do I win?

Since my question got skipped I'll just tell you all the answer. You actually control Super Joe in three arcade games:

    Commando
    Bionic Commando
    Speed Rumbler

In the arcade version of Bionic Commando, you play as Super Joe. In the NES version of Bionic Commando, you play a soldier sent to rescue Super Joe. That might make a good trivia question some other day.

    Nice! Creative thinking.

Chris Kohler is also correct. I guess you two earned prizes. More questions!

    • What game is my avatar from?
    • Name 10 games that feature mine carts--excluding games in the same series. (This is harder than it sounds; at least, it was for me.)
    • Numerous treasures found in "The Great Cave Offensive" of Kirby Super Star can be interpreted as throw-backs to other video games. Name 6 (making sure to mention which game they came from). If you've completed the game, this one's a cinch.

This was tough. I got the first 10 after racking my brain. I used Google to come up with the 2nd 10.

Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom
    Donkey Kong Country
Crash Bandicoot - Wrath of Cortex
    Scooby-Doo! Mystery Mayhem
    Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath
    Super Bagman
    Zelda: Oracle of Seasons
    Resident Evil 4
    Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius
    Pac-Man World: 20th Anniversary

    Duck Tales
    Cookie and Cream
    Kirby Super Star
Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine
    TimeSplitters
    Skies of Arcadia
    Frogger Beyond
    Tomba! 2
    Duke Nukem Forever
    Viewtiful Joe 2

Virtua racing and all the other vitua games for the model 1 hardware used the special 3D chip. Sega went to whom to get this special chip made and who did this company help before sega back in the 1960's? Both answers please.

Correct and correct! I know you don't need meseta, Flack, but your skill deserves the prize anyway.

This is getting pretty fun. I've got two more Q's.

    • Name 4 games in which you can cook, excluding games in the same series.
    • What was the first show that aired on G4?
