    Default Recommended SMS games

I'm finally picking up a Power Base Converter for my model one Genesis and would like to know some good arcade style Master System games. I'm somewhat familiar w/ the SMS' catalog, but have never played a large majority of the games. Can anyone suggest some good purchases?

Also, I noticed a game here on DP for the SMS, Master of Darkness. It appears to have only been released overseas (PAL format)...will this work using a US NTSC Genesis & PB Converter?

    I appreciate the help!

I did a search before I posted my question - I wasn't able to find what I was looking for.

Well you mustn't have searched very well - it's been asked literally dozens of times.
In fact almost as many times as people asking if European games are playable on a US system.

You can also do a database search and select the "reccomended games" box too.

Yes, Master of Darkness works on a NTSC SMS - therefore, it shouldn't be a problem with the Power Base Converter:

Give a guy a break, eh?

I am very fond of the Fantasy Zone games, especially FZII.
And everyone should play Shinobi. Also, Outrun, Phantasy Star and the Alex Kidd series are very good.

Sports games weren't really good even back then, but I always liked Great Volleyball. For the light gun, try Shooting Gallery and Gangster town.
It doesn't get any more serious than a Rhinocerus about to charge your ass.
