I was thinking a bit about the lost age of arcades, and I remembered the sound that I heard when I walked into an arcade. Not voices, but the sounds of pinballs bouncing, token machines plugging out coins, bleeps and songs from the stand-up machines... all of that exciting commotion.
Such a unique sound, isn't it? I bet there are people here that have never really heard that... and anyone much younger than I am (I'm nearly 25), can probably not remember that mid 80's goodness. Sure, there are still arcades, but the CD quality music and voices pouring out of most machines (while still having an ambience of their own) don't quite compare.
Anyway, my request: a sound file of "that sound." I've been to arcades in recent years, but nothing sounds like the huge back room in the local Aladdin's Castle, Funsville USA, or Chuck E Cheese.
Doubtful, but worth a shot.
