You really don't need ebay to do it. Just set up a a small website, use paypal for the money donations, and there ya go.

Not a bad idea. I did sorta the same thing, Anyone remember get keith out of debt auction. I had thousands of hits over the 7 days, various radio and newspaper interviews. haha. You should put Golden Palace in the title. People and Golden Palace search for stuff like auctions like yours.

    Good luck!

Even for $45,000, putting a tattoo on your arm of a company name for the rest of your life would be pretty brutal!

For $45,000 I would tattoo anything, anywhere. You could always get it removed later, anyway

Well, best of luck to ya. If you had any incriminating pictures of the ex lying around, that might boost up the hits a bit.

Good luck with that. You could always get a loan for some of the money couldn't you?

To get the most attention, email all the radio stations and newspapers in your area the link to your auction.

Good luck. But one question, do you know if your town has any ordinances against silk screening the name of a company on your window? That might be considered a billboard in which case you might have problems. I know I'd be pissed if my neighbor was advertising a bussiness for the next 5 years as that would likely affect the resale value.

Any way I hope things work out for you.

I don't see this working personally. Have you thought about getting a few roommates? That's what I did, and now they pretty much cover my entire mortgage. Makes things a LOT easier, and for the most part we get along great, and even all hang out together. Roommates.com is a good place to put and ad, that's what i did. Put those spare bedrooms to good use!!

I'm not clear on why you need 45K... I mean, what is your mortgage payment per month? Seriously, I like the find a roommate idea.

The tattoo idea is probably something you'd regret later, so I'd recommend against that.

You could also find a second job.
