The Best Fighter in HISTORY!!!
If I had a dollar for every one of these that I saw...I'd have $10 :P . But seriously, $103.50 for what is obviously a pirate? Ugh...
World's greatest Internet game store: http://blastedmachines.com
Also on Facebook: http://facebook.com/BlastedMachinesTechShop
Wanted: Any and all Dragon Quest, Lufia/Estpolis, Tales of series, and NIS games, strategy guides, and miscellaneous items. Will pay $$$ or trade well for items I don't already have.
You know, if the seller is being honest, I don't think he KNOWS that's a pirate.
I mean, that label is sharp looking. REALLY well done. Almost good enough to fool me for a official release.
And he says he found it a flea market.
If he's telling the truth, and does'nt know that much about the scene, he may not even know.
Someone may want to e-mail him and kindly tell him?

its so rare its Ultrare
This isn't really pirate in the normal sense...I am pretty sure it was made by leonk (DP member) who owns nesreproductions.com ...I bet he would be ticked if he saw that someone was trying to sell one of his repros too. He actually does really good work and that looks like one of his labels.
Yeah, $103 for a repro not even a pirate, someone is getting ripped off or is just too stupid to realise.
Of course the seller knows it's a repro - who's going to pay $50-$60 to get one made and then give it away to be sold at a flea?
I have the same one,bought from LeonK,for around $40
This guy is fantastic, and i feel bad for him that people lie saying "they found it a flee market" or something of that kind..how the hell would that be possible? with SAME sticker than LeonK?
That, and the Zelda Outlands..i feeld bad for him, really
i got games from him, and i enjoy them, and don't plan to sell them
Yeah thats BS.You know, if the seller is being honest, I don't think he KNOWS that's a pirate.

Homebrews have a 1% chance of ending up on the $1 table at the flee market.
A lot of Leonk Games have been going on ebay it seems, kinda sucks as he has a great site and does great work.
Can anyone suggest a way for me to mark carts ?
I wouldn't mind etching "nesreproductions" into the cart, but don't know how I can do it. Any suggestions?
Leonk, the sad thing is that even if you figured out a good way to etch your company name into the cart, people would eventually start changing the carts and the label and then continue selling them anyway. Perhaps there is someway to mark the label AND the PCB..? Just a thought.
I wouldn't bother marking the board since anyone who knows its a repro probably wouldn't show you the board anyways.
I say finding a way to burn your name or signature in the plastic on the front of the cart would do the job. A small mark on the top left would probably do. If someone tries to hide the area of the cart where the signature when they sell it on eBay that that's a tip off that it's a marked cart.
Leon, here is my idea. When you print the labels for the carts make sure you include an additional graphic on the label besides the NES seal of quality. You should add a graphic that says nesreproductions.com or Reproduction made by Leon K @ NesReproductions.com.
Thats should settle it.
Something like this:
that way everybody knows where they can get one instead of paying 100 bucks on ebay. And so people will hopefully stop abusing your services.
Here's an idea: use the old circle Nintendo Seal and alter the text in an easily identifiable way.Originally Posted by mills
EDIT: Other than the initial bidder (who put up only 10 bucks), everyone has a feedback of zero or -1. Can you say, "shill bidder"?
I knew you could.
Leonk, another possible idea would be to email all buyers a contract and have them sign it and mail it to you before shipping the game to them. The contract could state that the game is not to be resold for X amount of time, and if it is, then you, as the original creator and seller, are entitled to any and all profits. This would give you some legal recourse when crap like this happens. Some real estate deals use to be contracted this way to prevent what is know as "flipping," or selling a piece of property for a quick profit. I know that it would be more trouble, but it just might help the situation.
Just my three cents... x_x
Wow its already at $214.01 USD. The auction still has 30 minutes to go. I am shocked its that high in price.

Why don't you put the price and your email address right on the label.
