My daughter really wants a pink ds for Christmas. I can't find one anywhere. Does anyone know where to find one, besides eBay?

Curses, I came here to say Toys R Us as well.
Just checked the going rate on amazon and ebay. holy fuck. You're better off importing one from Play-Asia ($150) and buying Nintendogs seperately ($30)
I haven't seen one in person; are they the same color as the sakura PS2 and sakura GBA SP, or are they a lighter hue of pink?
It's supposed to be pearl pink... it's like the pearl pink Japanese GBA SP, a nice, slightly metallic pale shade of pink, almost salmon in color.
In Europe you have them for sale in story whch sells the DS.
Looking at some pics that someone posted of their pearl pink Nintendogs bundle on Flickr, I can confirm that it is the exact same color as my GBA SP. It is a very nice hue, not too garish.
Reggie Fils-Aime reported (and who knows if it's true, but I wouldn't be surprised if it were) that the Nintendogs bundles are already selling out.
I'd get on this one quickly - TRU, Target, Amazon, wherever allows you to do local store pick-up.
You are startled by a grim snarl. Before you, you see 1 Red dragon. Will your stalwart band choose to (F)ight or (R)un?
we have loads for sale over here, a Nintendogs bundle...
My local Gamestation has the bundles on display and yet when I asked for one (blue one in my case) they said they'd sold out. Would've been nice if they'd either taken the display cases off the shelves or at least marked them as 'sold out'! Still, I got one from my local Chipsworld instead. Very nice piece of kit it is too - I just need some more games for it now!Originally Posted by Cauterize

Pretty cheap, and you don't have to have Nintendogs if your daughter doesn't want it
I got mine at play-asia.com for about 167$ shipped.
the one thing you might want to keep in mind, it gets dirty very very very easily on the bottom (pure white)
The Pink Nintendogs bundles is only available at Toys R Us and Target in the US. The Teal one on the other hand can be found at any other retailer. If I were you, I would go to one of those store immediately to get one...unless you want to spend the ridiculous amount they are trying to sell for on ebay.
Thanks! I just picked one up at Toys R Us and am very relieved. I was getting nervous because they are selling on ebay for close to $200 sometimes. I also saw a Best Friends Nintendogs cartridge go for $50 on ebay.Originally Posted by Drexel923
Hmm - i was afraid of that. I was thinking very srtongly about getting the all white DS from play asia - but was worried about that.Originally Posted by Blitzwing256
Hmmm... Now I wonder if I should pick one of these up instead of the Mario Kart version...

Another note for people considering an asian import:
If you buy a Nintendo DS from Japan, you will not be able to register the unit at Nintendo.com - if you're at all concerned about being able to do so for promos or whatnot.
Just FYI.

Hey everyone,
I was able to pick up a bunch of Teal systems yesterday, of which I stuck a bunch up on eBay at $169.99. If anyone is interested, I'll ship free to DP members, which is essentially tax and the cost of shipping. Please ask me through these boards though instead of eBay.
I was really surprised to hear from everyone in town that they would not be getting any more of these in stock. I'm trying to decide if I want to hold on to any of them myself or not. I kind of would like to, but I had all but settled on the red Mario Kart DS...
