Default Gasp!!! My game save is gone!!!

    X_x
    NO! Why!?!
I put Castlevania:Circle of the Moon in my GBAsp...and all my freaking game saves are gone O_O Needless to say Im not pleased. I was Very far, and was just trying to level up to a high level.

Poop! Now, I realize the battery has died. But how could that happen? I have NES games with the original battery still working! It just seems like newer games would last longer or something....

    Blargh!!!!

Probably a faulty battery. Try contacting nintendo and see what they have to say.

Or a pirate version of the game, or the battery was loosened from physical shock, etc.

The same thing happened with my GB Metroid 2 years ago. I found out that one day my saves just vanished, and knew the internal battery died. I recently got the battery replaced though, after spending some money on that special screwdriver used to open up the cartridges. Saves work fine now.
Just know that nothing lasts forever, and that games with internal batteries in them can be replaced.

I guess I just always hoped my newer games would have a superior battery life. Oh well.

It just seems wrong when my Final Fantasy battery from the 80s outlasts a GBA game Ive only had for 3 years.

At least its a common game :)

For GBA Games, the Flash2Advance software can backup and load save files from your carts. Pretty handy for when this kind of thing happens.
