Those covers do truly rock PDF.

And I'm surprised and tickled pink that I was thhe first to mention the Spiderman release. I figured everyone else was watching like hawks in hopes it would be released, too.
Dude, they should have seriously put Kissinger and Nixon in their own reality/sit-com show. It would be like the odd couple.

Nixon: Is that chairman Mao on the phone?
Kissinger: Yes, but you can't speak to him, you're too drunk right now.

Worse comes to worse, you have three decent options if someone here doesn't volunteer:

    1) AtariAge - contact Alex, and he might donate some drive space and a forum

    2) check with the listowner for Stellalist and see if he might donate some

    3) YahooGroups - easy to run, and free, but you'd want a separate archive, as I believe they gut posts once they get too old

I've heard rumors that Tutankham will be released later this year...

I think it is great that people take there time to release new old games for the O^2 and I don't think that you can earn so much money with the rearelese of an old Videopac game,
if you count the work, the material and so on. I'm more than happy to pay them a bit for there work!

But you're right, I don't like the cover too and it would be very nice if "someone" would make a Parker-Box for it...

    Who said that?

Well, with the price I have set for FP and SH, I earn something when you only count the material. But I better not count the hours I spent on designing manuals, labels, inlays, etc.

If I will let the custom boxes be made, I will probably not be able to hold that price though. Tut would probably cost more. First for the custom-made boxes, and second glueing the cover artwork all over the box - this will probably be a pain in the a.. :/

In defense of the approach that both Deiter and Bas are taking (they provide the inserts, you provide the box), I recently has the occasion to pull nearly all of my O2 and Videopac games off the shelf and play them...and I'd forgotten what a pain it is to get the Parker cartridges out of their cardboard "beds" at times. No tears here that nobody went for full-on authentic Parker Bros. packaging. I just wish I knew how to get hold of the plastic boxes with gutting a perfectly good boxed game!

Plus boxes are in fact not too hard to come by here in Europe. Terrahawks is about the same here as Combat for the 2600 in the US. But due to the nature of plastic boxes, most of the Terrahawks carts come boxed. Problem is that most boxes are heavily scratched or even partially broken. It is very difficult to get those boxes in really good condion. If you are ok with a scratched one, I might be able to ship one with your cart for two or three Euros ...

Hm, I'm late to this thread, but I also love the O2. I run the Odyssey Homepage, so I probably should. (Thanks for the plug, Dieter!)

Since several folks listed their collections, I'll try. I have the complete boxed U.S. collection, both versions of the console box, all the homebrews/repros except Interpol, The Voice (plus box and manual), a cart shipping box, a boxed "Vid-Lid Plus" O2 storage center, 1982 World's Fair pin, boxed O2 console cover, a bunch of sales flyers, Odyssey2 Score Pad, K.C. Munchkin advertising standee, and probably more I can't remember. And then there's my small but growing Videopac collection, the Canadian games, the Japanese games... Sheesh.

As for the homebrews... I like it when the packaging is authentic, but y'know, just having carts of these games that otherwise would been lost to the garbage dump is good enough for me.

@Schenley: Awesome idea to have Baer autograph your O2!
