Whats the deal with the 2800 yen DS games? Are they something like the PS2 simple 2000 series (budget games)? Either of those two any good?

Yeah...those are budget releases.

Simple DS Series Vol. 4: The Block Kuzushi (the first budget game) is pretty good...its a fun arkanoid knockoff that controls well with the stylus.

Table Game Spirits (the second budget game) is alright...fun for short bursts. Theres a bunch of little games you can choose from (reversi, cards, another arkanoid clone, etc.) Not the best game, but good if you can get it cheap.

I think Touch Game Party (the last game in the picture) is a better pickup then Table Game Spirits.

Great taste in games. :) Plenty of TwinBee, both Dragon Spirit and Dragon Saber, and a touch of Cho Aniki, hehe, good stuff. :) I think if I had to limit myself to just a few Super Famicom games, I'd probably go with Fire Emblem and TwinBee too. I still need to get that second SFC FE (and the third, for that matter, but I'm too cheap to shell out for that one any time soon).

up till know i have probably spent more than 10k on it.

How do you resist temptation to play the unopened games? I'm going to start collecting, but I am for sure going to play the games... I've already started getting into handheld systems with my NGPC and Wonderswan, I just need WC and SC. I have Robopet Battling game for my Wonderswan, but due to the fact that it's ONLY understandable to people who read Japanese I can barely attempt to play it. I want Gunpey and Ghouls N Ghosts most for the WS.

Some sealed titles like Sapphire are gonna stay sealed forever! Imagening a value loss of 100$ is enough to kill off any temptation.

Heh, that's the first time I've seen the packaging for the Wonderswan Cho Aniki actually. How is the game? I hear it's a card-based RPG, which is definitely a strange(r) detour for the series.

Yep it's a RPG. I have not played it yet, but plan to soon. I don't know if I'll "get it" at all, but I had to buy it.

A modest collection.


Includes Goemon 1-3, 2 Ranmas, 3 DBZs for SFC, 2 for PSX, 4 Gundams for SFC, 1 for PSX, 2 Sailor Moons, Area 88, Elfaria, Torneko, SF2, King of the Fighters 99, Toshinden 1 and 2, Macross VFX, and Bushido Blade. Some of them I don't know the names of.

I've gotten rid of 2 Sailor Moons, Final Fight 2, Fatal Fury 2, Uncharted Waters 2, King of the Monsters, Cyber Knight, 3 DQ, and 4 FF, so my collection isn't quite as big as it used to be.
