Dead Saturn Problem

Hi

I have just bought a uk saturn, played for about 1 hour then the machine just turned off. I think its the power supply because if you unplug the machine wait about 1 minute plug it back in and switch it on the led will stay on for about 2 seconds, the cd access led will light up and the boot process would just begin, then it will just die again.

Trying to switch it off and on again produces nothing, you have to wait about 1 minute for the machine to light up again. Oh and the 1st version of the saturn with the oval buttons.

I don't hve the money to replace the power supply but would really like to fix it if its possible. If anyone can please give me a detailed overview of what has to be replaced to fix this.

Was this person located outside the U.K? If so, PAL systems have requires a different power supply than the U.S and JPN. U.S and JPN are 110v. I'm not sure about PAL, but it's defintely different, and requires that. Or else, that happens. Good thing it didn't explode or anything. :/
