Default Best GBA or DS Baseball Game?

It probably seems strange that a guy is talking about baseball in late November but it's my favorite sport. I recently got a Nintendo DS and would like to get a good baseball game for it but I don't think there's an official DS baseball game yet, is there? I know the DS can play GBA games, though, so what's the best GBA baseball game?

Baseball Advance on GBA is by far the best baseball game on either the GBA or DS, and is one of the best baseball games ever. It plays a lot like Ken Griffey Jr. Presents Major League Baseball on SNES, but with better graphics. One thing about the game that immediately won me over is the fact that it is the only baseball video game I've ever played where the computer will unintentionally walk you from time to time.

It's getting harder and harder to find that game (although it isn't really rare), so I'd recommend getting one soon.

No, there is no DS baseball game. Actually, the only sports game is football (Madden) and golf (Tiger).

I think I've read that the DS versions of Madden and Tiger Woods are less than stellar also. Maybe it'll take one or two editions for them to do a good version for this system. I found and have ordered a copy of Baseball Advance...it's not real common right now.

Interesting reviews...though I wasn't really looking for a golf or football game for this system.

Thank you but I did order Baseball Advance. That will be my only portable baseball title until they bring out one specifically made for the DS. I wouldn't be surprised to see one come next spring.

    Are you sure about this?

I've imported the Powerful Pro Baseball 5, 6, and 7 games and I think those have the best baseball available on the GBA. Everything's in Japanese for the RPG parts of the game but the practice drills and game parts are easy enough to navigate the menus to get to the best baseball gaming on the GBA :P
