Not the greatest titles released but if anyone is looking to expand their DS collection, check this out. I just ordered Snood 2 and Ford Racing 3 from Best Buy for $9.49 each (plus shipping). Not a bad deal for a new DS title. Just go to BestBuy.com

Thanks for the heads up, Amy would like the Snood 2. Too bad the site is getting pounded and they had to take it down for a while, heh.

Yeah, it said it was down when I first went to it also but I kept hitting the refresh button and after a couple tries, I got in.Originally Posted by Jed

There we go, got in and bought one. It's supposed to be Buy Nothing Day, but online doesn't count. >_>

I looked for those 2 in the store today, but even the workers said they didn't know where they were.
I got all the other stuff I wanted, so unless they only had 2 or 3 copies of each of those, then they just didn't exist at the Wilkes-Barre, PA Best Buy....

At my local BB, I saw tons of copies of Ford Racing and only 1 copy of Snood 2. Anyone know if either of these is any good and worth the price?
I snagged Snood. It basically plays like Bust-A-Move, only with weird critters instead of bubbles. Not a bad distraction for ten bucks.
I've only played a little bit of Ford Racing 3, but I quite like it so far. It's actually got the most smooth and accurate control of any of the DS racers available. You can use the touch screen for analog control, and it uses both axes of the screen, so you do steering + gas/brake. In other words, you can play the game one handed with the stylus if you use automatic transmission.Originally Posted by notoriusvig
Improvements over the GBA version:
-Much smoother and prettier graphics
-Analog control, with improved car handling
-In-car view and rear view button! Yay!
-Rotating course map on the bottom screen
-No annoying password save
Plus it's got the Model T and Model A, so that's an automatic win. ;-) Totally worth the $10.
I'll probably pickup snood 2. We got a ton of it as well as ford racing 3 in my geo shipment. They were all out on a special "day after" gaming fixture but we sold NONE of them. Really strange, DS doesn't seem to sell well outta there. I'm probably the only one who buys a lot of DS titles there, mostly because the discount on them is excellent ;D. Ten bucks off castlevania? Sounds good to me.
Stumbeled into Snood 2 yesterday afternoon at bestbuy.com and ordered it (before it was posted here). This morning I got an email saying that they are out of stock and expect to ship it to me in 1-2 weeks. Just a heads up.
Because it makes no attempt to be great, it is therefore extremely great.

I scored both titles today at my local BB in Crestwood,IL. They had 3 or 4 copies of each @ $9.99.

Just do what I did: cancel your order and go find it at the store. ;-)Originally Posted by PapaStu
I remember playing snood in 6th grade at my intermediate school (yes there is such a thing, where I lived 5th and 6th graders went to an intermediate school instead of elementary or middle school) it was actually awesome, my best experiences in school were at that place. Anyway sorry for getting sidetracked.
Snood is an awesome game, it would be horrible if it were a console title but for a DS or PC title its incredibly addicting. Im kinda surprised snood was around when i was in 6th grade though since that was 9 years ago.
I got an email this morning that my games have been shipped.
