Vectrex system is not working.

Well today I finally decided to play my vectrex again. I connected it and it didnt show anything on the screen but the sound worked. I tilted the machine and it will show something (mine storm) but it will quickly go away. I also started moving the ac plug and it will do the same as me tilting it. WHAT WRONG WITH MY SYSTEM? Would it be fixable?

Sounds like there could be a short somewhere. It's definitely fixable.

If you're familiar with basic electronics you could open it up and see if there's a broken connection / loose wire / etc. inside. If you're not familiar with basic electronics, probably best to stay out of there until you've read up on it a bit and/or have someone there who knows how to properly address the issue(s) your Vectrex is having.

There was a screen adjustment knob on the Vectrex, I think.

There is. Ive seen quite a few auctions where the seller lists a vectrex as not working, and its just a matter of turning the brightness down.

Im not saying thats the issue though...

Phillips head. I had to open mine to replace a controller port. It was pure hell.
