Did the Sonic Adventure Limited Edition come with a complete instruction booklet? It was a Hollywood exclusive rental and then a kiosk disc so that makes me wonder.
Joe, you have a couple of these don't you?

The disc I have doesn't have a complete instruction book. It has the cover art on one side and ad for the Dreamcast release on the other side. Only one page.
The art on the back is different from the regular Sonic, also. There are no Modem or Jump Pack icons and the fine print is different.

thanks. I just got one from ebay and wanted to make sure I got everything. Mine is the same as yours.
My Sonic Limited Edition Manual says " Limited Edition " on the cover and it is a 32 page manual. The back cover of the manual has a pic of the DC and says
" Its the most POWERFUL videogame system ever created. And it comes home on 9.9.99. Check out Sega.com for more information. "
Hmm, stonecutter, now I'm worried about mine :-).
My cover and inside page are the same as yours, however there are no inside pages. Now that I look closely, the page is a copy - I can see where a staple would have been. However, I just figured that this was how Hollywood distributed the discs - my disc is definitely the real one, limited edition markings and all. Now I need to track down that manual :-)

my wife and I checked out mine a little closer and she says it is dfinately a copy. > this sucks!! I just paid $34 for it on ebay. The disc and back cover are original but the front one is a copy.
the two i have both come with a 32 page manual that says limited edition on the cover as well.
I'll have to check again when I get home, but I'm almost positive it was a full manual, the cover says "Limited Edition", and it's also screened onto the disc itself. The back was different than the regular Sonic Adventure. I didn't quite get around to comparing the gameplay itself, which is where I thought people would be most interested. There are conflicting stories about the memory card, does it work or doesn't it, etc.
I'll check later!
There is an anniversary edition too of Sonic Adventure, that came with a Sonic Adventure gold colored coin, and came in a book like blue case... I have it at home somewhere...
I have that too, but I don't think it's a game. I think it's a music CD.Originally Posted by grandamchandler

As for the memory card, the game will save to the VMU, CHAO info and all, I went through the entire game. Downside, my gamesave for completed game, (SOnic only, so not really complete I suppose) was erased by my 5 yr old son, but he is working on getting it back the hard way lol. I'm a tough father I tell you lol.
The game itself, I believe is a full version, if not it can't be missing much I swear, I went to Gamefaqs.com recently to look at a walkthrough and I seemed to recall all of the worlds and levels covered. My recollection was the differencce had to do with Online (Internet) Play. If the normal one plays online, then the LE version doesn't. I think thats the way it goes if someone can verify this last point.
I do not have the back cover for the Jewel case, its the one thing I didn't get so I cannot describe it. Manual only.
Hope this helps, this topic seems to keep popping up on occasion.
Good call dp, I actually never played that anniversary edition, thanks for the info!
Yeah I think Stonecutter is right.
Differences between retail version and "Limited Edition":
-Front cover on Limited Edition version has "Limited Edition" drawn beneath the main title.
-Inside, the manual is identical.
-The back of the Limited Edition manual has a sort of a "coming soon" advertisement for Dreamcast.
-The Limited Edition CD has the same "Limited Edition" artwork (title) screened on it.
This one I don't have, so let's hear what the differences are between Shenmue and Shenmue Limited Edition so I can look out for it.
Shenmue LE has a marking on the cover in the top right that says it's LE, and also includes the passport disc inside.
Got any comparision pics of the covers?

Soniuc Adventure LE is pretty much the same version as the Japanese one--in fact, one of the glitches that lets one get Amy into Casinopolis can only be done in the Japanese and LE versions.
Egbert, I miss you...
