Default Burnout Legends DS review, anywhere?

Lookin for a review, any links.... I've been searching, mostly hitting PSP reviews. Just want to know how it is and the comparisions between the two, plus if its wifi or just plain wireless.

I've heard it's crap too. Who cares? Who buys a DS for Burnout? It would've been great if it was a good game but it'll hardly kill me.

oh...., 3.5 on IGN? That's brutal.
A reader gave it 7.3?? or was it 6.3...
Anyhow, is there any DP folks who own the game that can vouch for that?
It kinda gives a scenerio the Academy Awards vs. the People's Choice awards. Stupid analogy but you get the jest of what I'm asking right?
I am a huge Burnout 3 fan for the xbox. Reading the IGN review bummed me out but the reader's review was abnormally higher than the critics. Strange.

I'll have it this week, and if no one has responded, I'll chime in.

Apparently, this, Need For Speed, and King Kong are just awful on the DS (you don't even play in New York in Kong, just get a cinema of him being shot off). Thank god for Mario Kart this month.

I have the game, and it's nowhere near as bad as IGN makes it out to be. Granted, it's no award winner (I'd give it a 6.5 or so), but it's definitely not rubbish. My biggest complaints are the occasionally sluggish handling, laughable crash mode, and dodgy collision physics. Other than that, yeah, it's Burnout. It lies somewhere between the piece-of-shit NFSU2 (yay, racing on mattresses), and the outstanding Asphalt Urban GT.

I think we are starting to see the division between the PSP and the DS here. The PSP looks to be getting much better versions of third party console games. While the DS seems to be golden with first party and unique games designed for the DS. I think I'm going to steer clear of third party multi platform games for the DS.

Asphalt Urban looks like a winner. Thanks for the advice. I'm still dealing with connection issues to the wifi x_x

It's mostly just the EA stuff that ends up shit on the DS, from what I've seen. But no sense comparing cat shit to dog shit. ;-)

I certainly hope so. I'll probably order the NGage version anyway, though. Heh.

Well I'll definitely be playing it...I'm going for a complete DS collection. I just won't spend more than $10-15 for it

Give it 2-3 months. If it sucks, the price will drop.
