Ooh, I'm interested. I've been wanting to grab this one for a while. Are there any stores or websites that are specifically stocking the reprint, or should I just wait until it shows up at Gamestop?

Yo, I'd kill to play Gitaroo Man. It's one of the greatest PS2 games ever, yet it's still hard to find.

And you know, Atlus games doesn't make reprints...They make limited prints, and then they're done. Games like Skygunner and Samurai Western will be a rare find soon...problem is: most of their games suck .

Considering they just reprinted Persona 2, Cubivore, Rhapsody, Shin Megami Tensei 3: Nocturne, and did multiple print runs on Disgaea (was it 3 or 4 print runs?), I'm going to have to call shenanigans on the "limited print run" thing. As long as there's enough demand, they'll reprint something.

but I agree that Skygunner was no where near as good as everyone was making it out to be, and Samurai Western has been getting dumped on...

Proof is I just picked up my new copy of Saiyuki and multiple stores had BOF IV. GameStop said they should be getting VP and SII soon as well. Though they called it "finding stock in the warehouse".

I welcome ALL reprints. Though I wish PAL Rez would get a reprint. :-(

Does it need one? PAL Rez is still pretty easy to get over here in Europe (maybe things are different 'down under'?)

Divide the availability of games in Europe by ten, add people who buy EVERYTHING to put on eBay and you've got what finding games in Australia is like. :/

I'm just worried that when the reprints come along, then the rarity of the game will be lowered (thank heavens for the white strip; now all you got's to worry about is buying the game used x_x)

I still see no evidence of a REZ reprint. Amazon dosn't have anything but used copies, none in any of my local gamestops, and REZ dosn't even come up in ebgames site. If you bought a reprinted REZ, where did you get it?

I think they also did a "reprint" of DragonBall GT Final Bout for PSX. However the "reprint" was done by Atari. Same game though. I have even seen people trying to pass this off as the original Bandai game on eBay and at flea markets by jacking up the price to $50 or more.

I doubt collectors mind a surge in availability and a drop in price on something they're missing.

No, it's only bad for people making a living off reselling collectibles :P

The Rez reprint is being done exclusively by GameQuestDirect.com. They were the same ones that were responsible for the RE 2 & 3 reprints a little while ago.

So if all of the reprints are missing the seal strip on the top I'm assuming then that this pretty much means that all "used" copies of these previously rare games will be looked at as being reprints and therefore have no real value?
