Who has a complete US DS collection? User updated towards end of thread

I just want to say what a fantastic achievement this is! I only have a small collection of UK released DS games (55 to date) and there's only about another 20 I would want, but this is definitely something else! There's so much shovelware for the DS it's unreal, and there's perhaps only about 10% of the whole back catalogue (For one region) worth actually owning.

I can't imagine how much space all these take up, although looking at my own collection I would imagine it can't be more than a few high shelving units

One thing I would struggle with is actually keeping up with the releases and making sure I didn't fall behind - Something I seem to have done too many times with my X360 LE / CE collection - As you find you're always chasing the older ones and neglect the newer releases, and it's just a vicious circle. Kudos to you for starting this from Day 1 though, which means you only have to worry about half a dozen games per week, if that, rather than chasing previous releases

Renji's not buying them every week, he's just calling out the games he's getting into his GameStop that he works at. Collecting em all would take up a ton of space. I've got 3 Benno's full and i'm only in the 320's. Add another tower and make that +120 more games. Just to hit whats out there now Stateside you're looking at a wall of Benno towers.

Yeah, there are just WAY too many games out there and not enough space to put them all. I do buy a decent amount of these I guess, but I need more shelves! I just like working to get a complete retail list of all of DS games. I think I'm at roughly 275 for my collection. I haven't counted in a while. But yeah, I'm the Store Manager at a GameStop, so I'm there often enough to see basically every new or used game that comes into my store, so keeping up with this list is somewhat easy.

Would you really consider Game and Watch Collection to be a regular release? Wouldn't that be more of a promotional item like the Gamecube Zelda Collector's Edition Disk? Sure they're not that hard to find, but they're still not a regular release...

Good point, Baloo. I'll see if I can fit it in another section, or give it one of its own. I'll probably keep it on the main list as well (like how the exclusives get their own section and go on the regular releases). It jus makes it easier to check this list against the digitalpress database list to make sure I haven't missed something on either.

It seems odd that Gamestop chose not to stock the game. It does look like most of the major on-line video game retailers are carrying it though.

This may be off-topic but do we have anyone who keeps track/collect the Wii library just like the NDS?

IMO, I think the Wii is more bland for not particular reason, just my instinct!
