    Default Some Quick NiWiFi Help!

Ok, so I put in all of my information and everything. IP address, DNS, all of that good stuff. Then when I test connection I get an error message saying that it connected to the router and everything, but not the server. I also noticed on my computer that a little error window pops up saying "there was an IP address conflict with another device". Is there any way I can get rid of this problem??

I'm assuming that you're using a wireless router?

It sounds like you're trying to assign an IP address to your DS that your PC is already using. Try assigning the IP address + 1

    For example:

    If you're assigning 192.168.1.1, assign 192.168.1.2 instead.

If you can, I'd also suggest letting your router do DHCP in the future to avoid further configuration hassle.

    Uhhh..

DHCP is Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol.

This is where your router or server will assign an IP address to the devices on a network automagically. That way, you don't have to worry about configuring them. You just tell your networked devices where the DHCP server is at, and it takes care of the rest. Presto!

    Try this:

Control Panel>>Network Connections>>Right click your connection>>Properties>>Advanced>>Then make sure it says share connection w/ other computers

    Might work.
