    Default Xbox 360 games priced over $100 in ausy

    Xbox 360 games priced?

    Premium prices for premium games?

    Whilst the Xbox 360 is still a few months away, publishers need to notify retail shops months in advance so that they can prepare for the launch and we've been hearing some very strong rumours recently about the price and release dates for some of the big Xbox 360 titles.

    It is up to the individual publisher to decide what their titles will retail for, and Microsoft have stated their titles will retail for $99.95, whereas some companies like EA are charging up to $119.95.

    These prices and release dates are subject to change;

    * Amped 3 $109.95 2-Mar
    * Blazing Angels Squadrons Of WW2 $119.95 30-Mar
    * Call Of Duty 2 $109.95 3-Feb
    * Dead or Alive 4 $99.95 2-Mar
    * Ghost Recon 3 Advanced Warfighter $119.95 20-Mar
    * Gun MA15+ $109.95 2-Mar
    * Kameo $99.95 02-Mar
    * King Kong $119.95 2-Mar

    * Oblivion The Elder Scroll IV $109.95 2-Mar
    * Perfect Dark Zero $99.95 2-Mar
    * Perfect Dark Zero - Limited Edition Tin Box $99.95 2-Mar
    * Prey $109.95 TBA

    According to XE.com:

    $100 AUD = roughly $73.1957 US

    That IS expensive, but not $100 expensive. silly

    Fixed, thanks!

    Still about 20 bucks more than what they should be priced.

    Are you are you calculated right?

    AU$1.00 is approximately US$0.73

    So US$100 is AU$137
    CURRENTLY PLAYING:
    - Bioshock (360)
    - Disgaea (DS)
    - Wipeout HD (PS3)

    You're right, which means I messed up my format!

    What I meant to say is $100 AUD = roughly $73 USD. Sorry for the confusion!

    Welcome to buying games in Australia, guys. Our games have ALWAYS been more expensive than America, hence why I only buy Sega games brand new. Everything else is second hand.

    Aye...I did get some Chinese version game software new at a pretty decent price there, though

    This isn't that much of a surprise.. games are always this expensive at launch. I remember seeing crap like Reign of Fire for GameCube at $AUS110 at Harvey Norman, for example.

    PS1 and N64 launched at $AUS750 a console as well, and I believe PS2 was $AUS650-700?
