Default The Miyamoto Collection - Who's Done it?

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of...igeru_Miyamoto

I think a cool collection would be everything here. Obviously, TP and Mario 128 can be removed, the arcades if you wish, and the 64DD games if you are going for US only.

    That's my current goal!

Interesting. I never realized I own so many of these as I wasn't trying. I'm missing a total of 12 of them, and 9 of those are Game Boy or Game Boy Advance games that I have never tried to collect. Wow!

I've always had a goal like that in the back of my mind. I'm a big fan of everything Miyamoto, and having a complete collection to show that would be really cool. Looking through that list actually is making want to try to go for it.
I actually have about half of those to begin with though

What's the difference between the various roles he played? Does the fact that he was a producer really make Eternal Darkness a Miyamoto game?

Well, obviously director is a hands on role, producer means overseeing. Check out wiki-pedia's stand on producing:

That's a good idea... all great games and mostly common's so they won't cost a tonne.

I think I'm also gonna make this one of my goals. Since a) I have most of those games anyway, and b) I want to start a themed collection instead of a completeist one.

I believe Miyamoto was also involved with Pac-Man Vs. for the Game Cube. Or at least the packaging says that.

I already have a whole bunch of those, but there are also plenty I'm missing, mostly the more recent ones.

I think it would be really cool to have a complete Gunpei Yokoi collection. And you wouldn't have to worry about any new additions... :(

Hmm. Miyamoto's name shows up in many more SNES games than that. If one is going to include Earthbound, one should include SimCity and Kirby Super Star, too, at least.

Were the Wave Racer games that good, I have never played them and it surprised me to see his name on them.
They call me Ha-do-ken, cause I'm down, right, fierce.

true, most people tend to bash the gc version and say the N64 is far better, imho GC is better, so give it a try
