Ouendan. I had no idea that Inis (creators of the PS2 masterpiece Gitaroo-man) were working on another game, but as soon as I found out, I HAD to have it. I knew it would be good, but I never thought it would surpass Gitaroo-man's brilliance, and yet it did. Just amazing.
"First, we have aspirin. A common cure for things that aspirin cures. Leads to.....rabies."
I voted for Osu! Tatake! Ounedan! because that game is just insane.
Dai Senryaku VII.
Turn Based Strategy games are my favorite genre, so this one wins naturally :P
I went with Trauma Center: Under the knife.
I actually bought this game the other day expecting mediocre results, but what I got was a game that through me through a 360. The story was not all that great, but the gameplay is amazing. Maybe that is me just enjoying the old school board game operation, but hey, this is similar, but by far there is no way you can try to compare the 2, this game was just too fun.
The Warriors proved that games based on movies don't have to be terrible and also has end game bonus of the year.
