Default Firo & Klawd - originally to be a Megadrive game?

Didn't realise that this little gem was originally supposed to be on the Megadrive!

Shame it wasn't to be ... sounds like it would have been a great addition to the MD library.

No probs ... although it is not entirely accurate in some points.

For a start it says that Marko's Magic Football was a US only release for the Mega CD. Untrue - it was a PAL only release (until Good Deal Games recently acquired the rights to make a Sega CD release)

They also reckon that they had Dizzy Panic released on the Game Gear, but it's not on the DP guide ... is this another of their false memory syndrome things?

Interesting to see all those Aladdin enhancer games that they made, but that never got released ... such a shame!

I saw that too... I almost e-mailed them but then I got lazy. I had no idea Dizzy was such a popular character in Europe!

Panic Dizzy was one of 3 games on the The Excellent Dizzy Collection alongside Dizzy the Adventurer (a port of the first Dizzy game) and "Go Dizzy Go!" (a renamed version of Fast Food, the Dizzy-based Pac-Man clone). It was released for the GameGear, but is pretty hard to find, and an early incomplete proto exists of the Master System version.
Thanks for the link - there's a couple of other titles missing from the Rumor Mill too, such as the Master System version of Judge Dredd which never actually saw light of day (but may have been reviewed sonewhere - it's a title that crops up on some older online lists).
