DS is again ahead although it's still sold out.Originally Posted by Cmtz

xbox360 is t3h d3ad in japan(not to speak of xbox).
This discussion should have stopped after this post. But the haters could not resist.
Or maybe, just maybe, the opinions of the Digital Press forum members do not necessarily reflect those of the public at large. Heaven forbid the PPS outsell the DS for 2005.
I'm glad we talked about this again.

I dont know who is outselling who, but everytime I go to a Game Store they always have plenty used DS and few or none used PSPs.

FWIW, I can't imagine the trade in value you'd get for a PSP over a DS. I wouldn't even *consider* trading in something as new and pricey as a PSP at one of those places - it'd be like a kick in the teeth!Originally Posted by jsiucho

At gamerush we gave $170 for JUST the system w/charger. No headphones, mem stick, or any of that crap. If you chose to trade that stuff in you'd get whatever you get for those items, came out to about total $200 for a trade in of a value pack, but it's considerably less now, probably closer to $180 for the entire thing.Originally Posted by Nature Boy
That's not as bad as I suspected. I suppose if it *was* that bad you'd never get people trading anything in, which means you don't make any money which is *really* badOriginally Posted by hezeuschrist

On a related note, I've really been enjoying my new N-Gage.
<ducks rotten fruit and insults>
I thought about getting a PSP but I can't justify it right now at its price point and the small selection of games (I'm dying to play Twisted Metal, though.) The DS didn't appeal to me at first (I think its buttons and controller are all too small and feel cheap) but the quality of the games cannot be denied.
Still, I played Ashen on my N-Gage for well over two hours last night. It's a FPS like Quake (only with more light.) Each level seems to be divided up into two parts with one save point. There are no life pick-ups... only armor. This certainly adds some strategy. If you make it to the half-way mark and save but have no life left you won't make it through the second part. This encourages you to go back and get really good at the first part, save with all your life intact, and then continue. I'm rambling. Sorry. Here are some pictures. Get back to slapping each other about the PSP and DS and i'll just sit here with my crappy N-Gage.
Thanks for indulging my gaming habit when I was young, Dad. You were the best. I miss you. ~David Barnes 1926-2007~
yeah it's a nice FPS!Originally Posted by fishsandwich
I played it too.The good thing is that you do NOT need a N-gage for playing it.You can play it on nearly every new Nokia cellphone(with some tricks).I do that.
anyways....the few good titles for ngage are nothing against
PSP(hopefully soon) and (especialy) DS'es mountain of great and unique games.
