Atari 2600 Pac Man is guilty pressure of mine. It was a horrible translation but the game still had the basics and the new sound effects were cool in a bad kind of way.
hmm
my first answer would be donkey kong for the intellivision. it was the first home console game i played.
i really liked sewer shark and prize fighter on the sega cd in the day. im not sure i would do very well with either game now
There are alot of games that I like that most people think are garbage, but the one that takes the cake has to be............
TREVOR MCFURR IN THE CRESCENT GALAXY
for the Atari Jaguar. Yep, I actually like this game. I know, I know, it's the most horrible game on the Jaguar, yada, yada, yada. But seriously, I like it. I mean, don't get it wrong, I know that this game isn't the greatest, but I actually like to pop it in my Jag every now and then and give it a go. The game doesn't have any background music, just sound effects, and the gameplay is pretty horrible. But it's most redeeming quality, is the fact that this game just absolutely oozes with color when played on a RGB monitor (with a Jag RGB cable of course). Overall, I'd have to say that the Jag is a pretty crappy system, but the one thing that it could do, was put some serious color on the screen, especially if you played it on a RGB monitor. Trevor McFurr was one of the most colorful games on the Jag period. It had this one level, that had like a pastel color background, with these silver mettalic babies that would float around and shoot at you. The backgrounds of that level might actually remind some people of Yoshi's Story on N64. Alot of really weird enemies and really colorful backgrounds.
Oh man, me too. There's something about this game's atmosphere I keep coming back for. It has a quintessential cheesy 80's future commando vibe I guess. The best of the initial Neo Geo lineup imo.Originally Posted by max 330 mega

another solid choice
How about Dick Tracy for the NES. I'm not sure the game is even playable, but i always thought Tracy was cool so i automaticly loved the game.

No way! That makes three of us! Never thought I'd see the day.Originally Posted by Rejinx
I can't think of any incredibly crappy games I liked off the top of my head, but I think Final Fantasy Mystic Quest may fit into this thread. Everyone seems to hate it but me. I really enjoyed it. I wouldn't place it among the best in the series, but I like it better than most of the newer offerings.
There was a thread like this before...it was called like "games you love that everyone else seems to dump on" or something like that. I thought it was in the classic discussions, but I spent a long time searching and couldn't find it. I'd love to go back and read it again. Can anyone help?
Street Fighter The Movie (acrade).
Such a bad game....Street Fighter ala Mortal Kombat. Had my friends and I cracking up in the arcades.
I really dug that they had the actors from the movie (minus Raul Julia, IIRC) come in and film all the moves for the game.
Ahh....Kylie and her oiled up legs....lol.
she looks a lot like Angelina Jolie in that shot.Originally Posted by Damaramu

I was always a fan of hydlide and super hydlide/3 for nes/genesis, really different action rpgs in the ys strain that get dumped on alot because they were uniique and hard.
super pitfall is another great one..badly codded but a very deep challenging game complete with second and third quests.
deadly towers was another great one that I loved that the world hated, such a hard unfair game...but a good one.
lastly bokasuka wars.
confusing sure? but fun I never could beat it tthough I got stuck on the 5th level i think.
OK this is a PS2 game BUT its a "classics collection" and Im sure you know wich lol
SEGA CLASSICS COLLECTION :P I dont care what anyone says I like all but 2 of the games on the disk, YES I even like the -golden axe -with-firstgen-PSX-graphics+sloppy-control and the barely 32-bit looking OUTRUN so there!
the version of Virtua Racing is the best home addition released IMO and the Space Harrier and Alien Syndrome remakes arent to shabby either.
I also have to admit to liking the N64 Castlevanias back in the day. now ,well..... not soo much.
That game's not crappy, its awesome!Originally Posted by Austin

I loved that one too. I'm just weird though because I tend to not always agree with people on games ( I'm not a fan of the FF series ).Originally Posted by roushimsx
