How is the speed on Street Fighter? I recall hearing that the early versions had a bit of slow down problems.
Nah.... your a slouch. RPG's have made you weak. :POriginally Posted by Oobgarm
Because it makes no attempt to be great, it is therefore extremely great.

The folk over at Eurogamer are also finding this port a tad more difficult than expected. I am going to struggle, me thinks.
How is the D-Pad holding up? I quite liked it at first, but I soon realised how inadequate it really is.
Oh, and how is the lag?
o yeah the game is really hardOriginally Posted by Oobgarm
I am having trouble with singleplayer, I can't get that far in it no matter how hard I try.
but I am enjoying it,
I just got the achievement for 10 ranked victories

I am torn on blowing 800 points for this, but might, I am waiting anxiously for UMK3!!!!!! thats gonna be SWEEEEEEEEEET!
To be this good takes AGES
To be this great takes SEGA!!
Downloaded the trial last night and cried about how limited it is. That said, I'll probably just go ahead and buy this one, but have questions. How's the lag on Live? How's the competition? I found myself having issues pulling off special moves with the XBox controller - anyone else having this problem? Is there a good way to solve it? Also, did anyone buy the SF theme? Worth getting?

I was impressed with the speed, there didn't seem to be much lag. The game does seem somewhat limited though...it's really hard to put my finger on but it''s there. I have a HELL of a time pulling off special moves on that GD xbox controller...brings back memories of DOA4 already. The on-line competition raped me. Then again, I don't remember shit about SFII. It pretty much went like this:Originally Posted by ClubNinja

2) E Honda hundred hand slaps into the corner for rest of match
It is harder.
E. Honda keeps kicking my ass. And Ken/Ryu goes nuts with the hadoken fireballs.
And for those of you who have the DOA 4 controller - consider yourselves lucky. It works quite well with SF2.
Haven't played it online, yet.
Im gonna be buying the controller just for this. I couldn't pull off half the moves the I could on my arcade cab.Originally Posted by diskoboy
Hyper lag is relative to how far you are away from the person. It's not "as" bad as the Anniversary Edition lag on Xbox, but it's still there, and the droppers are all over the place!
I make sure I go in and leave feedback stating when people drop. It's lame and hopefully if they get enough bad feedback on their rep people will reconsider.Originally Posted by DreamTR

I have street fighter also. Gamertag is Overbite so play wit me suckas
I am getting some lag in ranked matches, but it isn't too bad.
Dead Rising demo is live now.
Holy cat-balls! I just noticed this, while en-route to download a copy of Street Fighter II! This should be very interesting...Originally Posted by MarkMan

OK! Dead Rising is looking all set to be a friggin' awesome game! Thank God for that, eh?
The demo is really just a playground to have some fun in, but there is also an opening and closing cutscene to chew on if you want some background. Really great graphics, as you'd expect from Capcom, and just a mind-blowing assortment of weaponry! The controls felt a little stiff while aiming, though.
All in all, this seems like a really good sample of what we can expect from the game. I'm just miffed that I'll be waiting another month to play this...
As for Street Fighter II... well, what can one say? I'm impressed. On-line play is excellent! No problems at all. Easy as pie to get going. Plenty of fun, and easily worth 800 points. I just wish they had remastered the music. That is a missed opportunity
Damn... All the games coming out this month is gonna leave me broke as a joke. Dead Rising and Pac-Man next week, N3 and Madden '07 the week after that, then Saints Row, then finally Enchant Arms...
This will be a first... Being broke because of video games, during the summer.
SF2 was kind of corny, if you ask me. I downloaded the demo, and it's almost impossible to pull off moves with regularity with the Xbox 360 pad. Not to say I am SF masta -- I suck monkey balls at the game -- but I do know how to pull off Ryu's uppercut/haduken (or however it's spelled) moves. It's hard to get those half/quarter circles on the Xbox 360 pad. I guess with practice it's possible, but it could be at the expense of your left thumb...
Really cheeseball people online... droppers and E-Honda slapper pricks...
Thank god for the feedback system, so I don't have to play them anymore.
anyone got a quarter?
