I think it's safe to say, choosing a Game of the Year, this year, is gonna be a complete bitch.
This game will clearly give Halo 3 a run for it's money.

True that. I wish I had a bigger and better one to enjoy this game to the full potential. It's beautiful, plays beautiful, everything about it is beautiful. I went into the demo with super high expectations and the game managed to surpass even those expectations. Might be too early to judge based off the demo alone, and with all the other great stuff coming this year, but I think I've found my GOTY.
Not to ruin anything about the demo, but at the beginning when you first take control of your character, I had to wait until the game told me it was time to move, I still thought that was part of the cutscene! The game looks THAT DAMN GOOD. Gears finally has some competition in my opinion.
I dont know I think something got a little screwed up, because the 100 Meter is under 8 seconds and that is just straight running and second place on the hurdles last I checked was just over 8 seconds. Oh well.
Same thing i did, it does look amazing on an hdtv, im so damn excited! i only got to the security helicopters then i had to leave, but truly a great game and looks crazy good too! 8 more days
Now it is .27 seconds.
Got to love cheaters. I'm just happy that I used my arcade stick to get the times for the achievements.

The Bioshock demo was quite entertaining. The deco style is absolutely spot on and is the high point of my time with the game. The other big thing is the use of 5.1. I've never played another game on a console that used sound to such great effect.
Is the only other plasmid you can find in the demo the Incinerate one?
And apparently the Beautiful Katamari demo is up now! Go roll up a big one for me!

That Bio shock game was sweet, kinda reminded me of condemmed a little.
Looks like I'm going to have to try that Bioshock demo with all the praise its getting.

To anyone playing Hexic 2 - are you having problems with your cursor wanting to move by itself, or is it just me?
Nope, though I must say I much preferred the cursor on the old Hexic, rigid as it was.
While wating for the bioshock release I started to play aegis wing the free live game and I must say after figuring out the gamplay that this is one fun shooter. I was at first confused because the directions were vague but man this one climbed up my favorite ladder.

I also think this is a great game, especially for $FREE.99. My only problem with it now is that I can't get that last ridiculously high score achievement because everyone I encounter on Live are foul-mouthed 10 year olds who love to boot people to show how much of a man they are to their friends or guys who won't let anyone into their insane games, usually spouting some ridiculous garbage before booting you. I start my own games but everyone just quits, is horrible, or is a jerk who steals all the powerups, dies and then quits.
