What's wrong with this? It sounds perfectly reasonable to me, as it allows the hardcore types to spend afternoons toiling away at perfect runs to see their name on the leaderboards and it allows average joes to finish the game they paid money for. It's seems to be a damn-near perfect compromise. It also beats some of the Metal Slug ports and Strider 2's always-on unlimited continues.
I've played Ikaruga briefly at a friend's house a couple years ago, but this was the first time I really sat down to play it in detail. What a great game! I tried an online co-op game and I think I pissed the other guy off because I sucked so bad. Oh well, you've got to learn somehow.
I'll probably never get my friggin' name on that leaderboard, either. Life's just too short to get that good at it.
This game makes up for last week's Mr. Driller abortion.
FYI Iron Man demo up, 623 mb... enjoy!
To be this good takes AGES
To be this great takes SEGA!!
Anyone tried the Rocky & Bullwinkle game yet? The demo of mini-games was fun but im not sure if I should buy it.
Time will be when the broadest river dries
And the great cities wane and last descend
Into the dust, for all things have an end
The Bourne Conspiracy demo is now up, at a whopping 1.24GB.

Assault Heroes 2 is a far cry better than the first one, IMO.
Ikaruga and Triggerheart Exelica are great games. HArd to get in the states, so gald we can get it here on XBLA.
For the glory of the Lion, and for the Emperor!
Has anyone tried Penny Arcade Adventures yet? I won't be around my 360 until later tonight.
I assume its not worth the 1600 points they're charging for it, seeing as how I'm not a fan of the strip...
The game is a pretty awesome! The humour is great, and the old school battle system rocks. Its like Paper Mario and Shadow Hearts combined. I am in the early stages of the game, but the only complaint i am hearing is that it is to short.
