Good finds on those games nesmaster! That rocks. And Steven, I'd say good score on those three genny games for 20 bucks. A complete general chaos alone can come near that. I ran back out later today to pick up a genesis cart, and found a few other goodies:

Genesis - Crusader of Centy (loose) - 4

This is what I went out for...saw it at a pawn a while ago but didn't pick it up since it wasn't complete. Decided to go back and grab it for resale, or if someone possibly has a box?

At the other two thrifts, St. Paul & Value Village, I got these:

    Atari 2600 - Random commons (loose) - 2.50
NES - Ninja Gaiden III (loose) - 2.99 sweeeet

Couldn't pass up the atari games for 2.50. Most are in excellent condition, a few are messed up. I've been looking for NGIII FOREVER, and finally got it at a great price.

If anyone out there has a Ninja Gaiden III or Crusader of Centy box PM ME! ;D

Here are my finds for today:

Frantic Flea for the SNES (loose)
$2.00 at the local thrift store

Shadow of Rome Demo Disc (with sleeve)
$1.00 at the local thrift store

(and two non-related video game items)

BOOK: TV Guide Collector's Edition: Farewell to Star Trek: The Next Generation
    $1.99 at Value Village

BOOK: How To Win At Trivial Pursuit & Other Knowledge Games
    $1.49 at Value Village.

I bought the Trivial Pursuit book because I remember someone requesting something similar on another board I frequent.

I'm a happy man today. I stopped at a used game store the next town over and found something from my childhood.

    Video Pinball by Atari
$14.95 with original power supply and Game/TV switch.

I don't care if I overpaid for it. This was the very first home console my Dad (R.I.P.) bought. I was only 2-3 years old at the time. I barely remember picking it up from the local store but I remember playing that sucker up until the time he bought the 2600.

Oh also got ESPN Hockey Night for Sega CD for .99
We saved some guy's life. Killed some vicious murdering lichs and blew up something big. I'd call that a pretty good night.

    Ok, some good stuff today.

    http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v9...s/finds038.jpg

$15 for the 17 atari games
    $2 for the Nes game.

If anyone knows atari well, I'm curious to the prices of Montezuma's Revenge and the Star Wars game.

    Monte is R6 here $25
    Star Wars is R5 $20

Both have box, game and manual.

I went to out hitting a bunch of shops yesterday 2 hours away.

    First GoodWill-Nothing
Second GoodWill(never been in this one before)-Nothing
Salvation Army(never went to that one before either)-A few Genesis sports games, but other than that nothing

Then, we were going down to highway going to a flea market, and I noticed they open a Cash Converters. I must have be the grand opening because they were PACKED . They had lots of old games, but they were pretty much all sports games. But I did manage to pick up Chuck Rock for GG for 3$

Then went to a indoor flea market and went to the electronics store inside. Saw Castlevain Bloodvines for 5$ loose but it had a rental sticker on the lable. Pased it up, I might regret it though. So nothing there either

After that I went to GameStop, mom bought me that MegaMan limited edition controller, for my birthday(which is in May ) But I myelf found nothing. Saw Disney Spors Skateboarding but the cover was faded.

Out the way out we hit another GoodWill, passed on some ames but were mostly sports games. Did find however a CD sampler with a song I really like on it for 37 cents, pretty cool.

So it wasn't a wasted day, even though I didn't find much.

I went to a car boot sale before work today. For the first time I got something that can be considered a "haul".

At the first stall I got five PS1 games for £4.

At the second stall I got a Gameboy Advance, with a light, and battery pack with charger for £8.

At the third stall I had a rummage through a box of PS1 stuff which had a strange controller I'd never seen before. I asked how much he wanted for just the controller and he said £3. Then I asked about the memory card, he said £5 for that and the controller. He said I could have the lot for £10 but I only had £7 and told him. Sold! I put my hand in my pocket for my wallet and it wasn't there. Shit. I looked in the bag of stuff I'd bought and it wasn't there. I went back to the second stall and asked if I'd left it there and the seller had picked it up. Phew!

So I got a PSX with the hookups, two standard controllers, the analogue joystick, a memory card, and nine games for £7. I'd say that's a very good price.

Stopped by EB Games yesterday, and picked up some games for the first time in a month.

    Crazy Taxi (PS2 - Complete) - $9.99
    The Getaway (PS2 - Used/Complete) - $4.99
    F-Zero GX (Complete) - $9.99
    Mega Man X Collection (PS2 - Complete) - $29.99

I got a good deal on The Getaway. First copy I came across was for $19.99, and the woman at the register told me that they had a used one for $4.99. So like any smart person would do, I took the used one for a lower price.

It's not really worth much more than that. I bought both of them at full price, £30 each, and finished both of them in a couple of days. You'd think I'd have learned my lesson after the first one and waited for the price to come down. The second one was completely an impulse buy.

Well I got this stuff here last Wednesday but didnt have time to post it..

Nintendo NES : £6 with all cables, one pad, one zapper and Jacky Chan game

Nintendo SNES (boxed) : £6 with power supply, official controller (no video cable) - its in like new condition, probably the mintiest SNES ive ever seen.. the box is really unusual I dont think ive seen one of these before.. its pretty much plain white, but in the top corner is the Nintendo logo in black and "SNSP-S-CD(V)-UKV" "MADE IN JAPAN"

The bottom of the box has a black sticker saying distributed by THE GAMES LTD, Eastleigh etc etc

Got this stuff today.. went to flea market and gamestation..

Master System II Instruction Manual : £0.20p
    Cheetah Joystick : £0.50p
    NES Joystick : £0.50p

    and from Gamestation:

SNES - Terranigma (complete but worn) : £19.99
    N64 : Zelda Majoras Mask (cart only) : £1.99
    Dreamcast : Dead or Alive 2 (boxed) : £2.99
    Saturn : Sega Ages Vol 1 (complete & mint) : £1.50
    Megadrive : Kings Bounty (complete) : £1.50
    Megadrive : General Chaos (boxed) : £1
Megadrive : Ecco the Dolphin (complete & mint) : £1
    Megadrive : Flashback : £1
    Megadrive : The Terminator : £1

Was pleased with Terranigma.. even if it is worn!

John Madden Football Championship Edition - if anyone has this game, I would like some information on the manual. Was it the same manual as the standard version? This one came with a manual but the front cover has been ripped off. Other than it is minty and I'm happy. - 6 bucks

awesome find man! That's one of the last 75 games I need for genesis. Weird too, you're the second one who's had one with a manual missing the cover on this site ;D. The manual looks exactly the same. Gold border. So it's basically the madden 93 manual, just gold.
