    Default Wierd NES cord

Today I found a strange NES cord in one of my boxes. I've had it for weeks but first noticed it today.
At one end its like a normal NES controller, but on the other it looks like some kind of printercontact. It have 25 pins.

My first guess is that its for the Miracle Piano (which I dont have), anyone who can help me?

I didn't think that there was a special controller that came with the Miracle Piano...only one of three catirdges. It had carts for NES/SNES/Megadrive (I think it was on all three) cartridge(s).

From my best guess, I would say you have a hacked controller to allow you to use it with a parallel port on a PC so you can play it with an emulator.

If you want more information about this, check this link:

    http://www.dreamcliff.com/personal/d...ump/index.html

There's also drivers on there to get it up and running XP machines if you're having some problems.

Hopefully this info helps, but you may want to get someone else to confirm it just to make sure I'm not lying to you.

No, the Piano had to have the right controller cord so the system knew if you were screwing up or not. : )

Sounds like the miracle piano cord to me.

it could also be a cord that connects a wireless controller hub to the Nes deck, my quickshot wireless hub has one like that.

Oh I see...I think I misread it. I saw the "At one end its like a normal NES controller" and all I thought was the controll pad.

    Sorry about that. x_x

    Thanks for the tips
The cord have some text written on it, "Pan-International". Does that change anything?

I think that excludes it from being part of the QuickShot Starfighter 1 set, as my cable does not have Pan-International written on it. I did a quick search for Pan-International on the web, and they seem to produce wireless headsets, gamepads, joysticks, etc, so I'd assume that they released wireless controllers for the NES. The QuickShot starfighter controllers (both wireless and non-wireless versions) were cloned (or simply distributed) by multiple companies within Europe, so it would not surprise me if your cord belongs to wireless controllers similar to the QuickShot Starfighter 1 set.

If you could take a picture of the cable that would be great!
I'm always looking for new boxed NES accessories. If you've got any for sale, shoot me a PM!

I'm pretty sure it's for the Piano. If I could only find mine I would check it and compare them to verify.

Ok, would be great Reason why I think it is the piano is because the Miracle Piano cart was in the same bundle I bought.

ya, just checked the Freedom stick and it's not for that. The freedom stick has 2 plug-ins for the NES. most likely for the piano then.

That's probably the evidence we needed.

Ye, thats why i thought it was the piano cord. But the bundle had alot of stuff, like the powerglove, the 4 player GB adapter you used for F1 etc so it could be for something else too.

That's the Miracle Piano cord that hooks it to the NES. Looks just like the one I have.
RIP bargora, you will be greatly missed. That is how we do things on Giedion Prime.
