Default identify this sfc game for me?

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWA%3AIT&rd=1

    listed are:
    street fighter 2 turbo
    sky mission
    kirby's dream course
    powerful pro baseball '96

and the item of interest, in the seller's description:
"A GAME WHICH SAYS SUPER SOMETHING FIGHTING GAME LIKE GOLDEN AXE"

which made my beat 'em up senses tingle. any guesses?
its the cart in the top right corner of the cart pic

and yeah yeah, i know this is kind of an import forum post, but the thing ends in three days, plus, i'll reward whoever figures this out for me with some meseta.

I think the first character is "va" and the last character is "ko", but I can't tell what the middle character is.

    Hmm, I see it...

Super Valis: Akaki Tuki no Otome, as I thought.

Don't know what I think of that one - I quit out of boredom when I started playing.

Edit: Also known as Super Valis 4. I'm playing it again right now. I hadn't realized you could dash and send out a powerful wave of magic with up + attack when I first played it, so that makes things a bit more interesting.

So what kind of game is it? Well, think Castlevania, but in somewhat blander environments (good detail, but not enough variety in this area, and pretty simplistic map design) and with pretty dumb enemies.

Glad to save you some money. Actually, for me, it's made me try out the game again, so we all win.

Varisu... Yeah, I see it now.

Did you recognize the art, or am I lacking in my recognize-blurry-katakana skill?
